Therefore, assuming Richmond finish the season 6-2 on the run home (and that’s being generous), I have them finishing 7th and a fair chance of travelling to Port or West Coast in week 1 where they’ve struggled of late. Harsh but fair call. He really let us down last game and I thought he’d be omitted. There was another youngster with a much higher profile that would also want to make amends this week.

I think T Mac’s mind was elsewhere against Collingwood which was understandable. Lets hope for a far better showing from him this week.

There’s a bit of speculation around town that Collingwood will be playing St Kilda next Sunday at the MCG, which would mean we’ll play GWS in one of the Saturday time slots, maybe even the twilight.

I reckon Jones has still got a few games in him. We need senior hardened men out there as we grind through the July and August months and we can't afford some of our younger players to repeat what they dished up against Collingwood over the coming weeks.
