Agree we really need to strengthen the midfield, disagree about Rivers in the midfield. I would definitely be playing him there.

Surely Laurie is a late in for somebody. Personally feel he should be playing the remaining games this year. I still have doubts about him making it but I have seen some signs from his games this year that he has some potential. I really don’t think the club has given him enough continuity to find his feet and confidence in the seniors.

Judd McVee surely couldn’t have been far off the list. I was a critic of ANB and at the end of 2020 would have been happy to see him move on. But now I love the guy, his work rate and commitment to the team is outstanding. We lack a bit of what he brings to the team and he is now one of our more important players. Very happy to see him get any recognition that comes his way.

I think we would struggle to get a second rounder for him. It’s been a while since he has put a string of really good games together. I would love to see him have some luck and a massive pre season and help us get back up the ladder.

What do you think his value is?

A bit optimistic I think.

Very bloody annoying. They might not make finals but they’re much closer to making them than I like. I don’t hate Hawthorn has much a few other clubs but I could do without seeing them win another final in my lifetime.

My view is JJ would still be at the club if we hadn’t brought Hunter to the club to take over his spot on the wing. Hunter was ok last year but really no upgrade on what JJ had done the previous year. I would much prefer JJ on our list for many reasons and I think if the club had their time again they wouldn’t have gone near Hunter. Just my two cents.

Hawthorn are playing very good football, their tackling and pressure has been fantastic.

I will be shocked and [censored] off if Hunter gets another game barring not having enough players to field a team. Howes, Brown, Taj and Kolt should all be playing in front of him.

Why the [censored] don’t the AFL make Richmond use their alternate jumper against Collingwood.

One thing that is really starting to do my head in is how often in particular our forwards but this also happens around the ground. Is how often a player gets too close to the player on the mark when kicking. How are the coaches letting this repeatedly happening, it’s just basic stuff but costing us goals. We also are regularly to slow at getting back off the mark around the ground and that just increases our turnovers. It does my head in. List management this off season is going to be crazy important. Get it right and I think we can challenge again in the not too distant future get it wrong and we could be drifting further down the ladder back into obscurity.

Absolutely and Houston is worth a first rounder plus something more depending on the actual first round pick. Yep sure if we can get Cumming as well then it’s looking better but if it’s just Houston is he really going to improve us enough to challenge?
