  1. Bursting with pride. Still feels like a dream. Pinching myself like a mofo.
  2. Dees are playing like there’s less than a kick in it. Never let up!!!
  3. Methinks Dimma’s swear-jar be overflowing tonight.
  4. Cannot relax (or breathe for that matter) ‘til that final siren sounds.
  5. Sweet mother of god how I wish this was last quarter.
  6. Alex’s goal was SO important: stops any ideas of a Richmond run-on
  7. We’ll be singing the song long after your friends have said “I do”
  8. Yes! We trust! WE TRUST!!!!! In Melbz we trust!
  9. That fact alone is so heartening. This might really be our time.
  10. I’d have been stoked going into the long break level-pegging-ish. This is sooooo exciting!
  11. I’m a Dees fan, FFS. “Humble” is my middle name.
  12. I can only speak for myself when I stress that there was not even a skerrick of malice in my comment. It was meant to be humorous. Granted, it wasn’t that funny; pretty ordinary in fact. Nonetheless, it was not said with ill will. I actually really like North and sincerely hope their fortunes change soon. I also like Tasmania. I need to say this since I may or may not have likened Tassie to being with Colonel Kurtz in the death-ridden jungles of Cambodia, and I wouldn’t want anyone to take it the wrong way. ?
  13. I wouldn’t risk going to Tassie lest another one or even two Covid cases (!) sees you stuck there. Imagine that. The horror...THE HORROR.
  14. So they’ll still cop a monumental thumping, only now they won’t have as far to travel to lick their wounds.
  15. A little cocky?!?! Geelong were a little cocky after 3 flags in 5 years. Hawthorn were a little cocky after their threepeat, as were Brisbane. No, Richmond are more than a little cocky. They’re positively nauseating. They are belligerent and conceited and sadly I think beating them tomoz won’t change a thing. They were unbearable in the late 60’s and early 70’s and it took a 38-year drought to bring them back to earth.
  16. Already got it. I back AGAINST the Dees every week, regardless of who we’re playing. If we win, I’m happy. If we lose I’m unhappy but the winnings soften the blow, to a degree. I’ve got $20 for North to win.
  17. “... the sun doesn’t go down, it’s just an illusion caused by the world spinning round.”

  18. I just wanted to illustrate exactly how much I love the Dees: I’m not a gambler but every single week I bet AGAINST the Dees. That way, if we win I’m happy. And should we lose, I’m sad, but I’m sad and have a little more $ than I had pre-match. I started doing this in 2017 and sadly won more money than I wanted. I’m happy to say that this year I haven’t won a cent! I usually place a $10 or $20 bet, except when we play Essendon, where I’ll happily lose $50 to see the Dees beat them. Incidentally, I HATE Essendon with every fibre of my being. And I mean Hate with a capital H. Next-level Hate. Boss-level Hate. Probably borderline obsessive hate. Hate with an unrivalled and unbridled passion. And not just since the 2000 grannie either. I’ve always hated that team. And always will. Anyways, that’s how much I love MFC. ❤️?
