Of the current MFC players the one I would choose to kick a goal to win a GF it would be Brown by a mile . T mac from a tight angle would give me nightmares as would P , O , G . Plugger is the best I have seen .

Tmac can play both ends but can Weids/Brown play CHF ( the hardest and most important position on the ground ) as well as Tmac did on the w/e ? If I was Weids I would tell the coach I also love playing in the back pocket .

Thanks for all the suggestions , good and band . Have had lots of character building circumstances in 61 years and playing hundreds of games of footy so am enjoying some of the negative comments . Have never used social media and this experience has confirmed my thoughts . It can be really good and bad . I am sure if you became obsessed it could kill you . I will be at the Richmond station before the game asking for support for the Apollo Mission which now seems more like Mission Impossible but will still go ahead . When you are part of the MFC you will never walk alone . MMGA .

The Foundation Heroes have an annual dinner attended by all players and coaches and requires a $5000 entry fee . Anyone can join .

Incredible video !!!! Thank you for posting . Loved the Hassa Mann story told by Stan Alves . " Sooner fight than lie " . Interesting he thought the club was slipping . How right he was . Coach of the Century ! Not sure about curses but definitely believe in Karma . Dont walk under ladders . The longest sporting curse was the 87 year Red Sox ( not Redlegs ) Bambino curse when they moved on Babe Ruth . We moved Norm on . When we do the following the Karma will have changed . 1. Win 9 and break the 65 streak . 2. MFC player to win a Norm Smith medal and 3 . Win the premiership .

I was thinking TMac may go back . Can do what Thomo can do and add some attacking flair . Would love to see Weids dominate at the G . But Tmac was our best player last night imo . Great summary but too harsh on a number of players IMO . Especially Bullen - lifted on Sat and lead the way with spirit . Lever - effective again . Spargo - many high pressure acts . Petty - a 21 year old with few games looked very calm and composed . Love that each week for every player that has a quiet game two others lift . Very proud of all players ! Would love to see Weids playing in the team .

Happy Mother Day Woke up and had to pinch myself to make sure I was not dreaming again . Red and Blue all over on the outside from bruising . First time I can remember to the Dees on top of the ladder ( not sure what happened in 2005 ) . First time I am watching On the Couch . First time I am watching most other games . First time I am happy to talk footy with anyone . First time on Demonland . Plus lots more . Footy is much more fun when your team are doing well .

Also kicking at a similar age reminds me of Wanganeen .

Love the statistical comparison but everyone is different . His chasing reminds of me Davey , his ability to do the unthinkable like Cyril , the marking of the Wizz and the likability of Betts . I thank my luck stars he plays for us and fingers crossed we will see him for a decade .

Went to the G to watch the Hawks game . Been too long away and a lot seemed to have changed . The ad boards move sideways during the game which was a terrible distraction . We won't get rid of them but stop moving them while play is happening . Then the GOAL , GOAL , GOAL after each 6 pointer screaming from the speakers smashing atmosphere ( for me anyway as I like crowd noise ) . This really [censored] me off . Entertainment before and after the game with the game left alone in the middle . I am a traditionalist . Leave the Test alone !

The Grand Old Flag is my favourite song and this year we have had lots of fun singing it and in the Better Days Ahead .We need another song . Please read the beginning BDA . As a Master Demon I am interested in what you think .

Very funny Colin and apt for the last 50 years not the future . Perhaps our second song . Saw a post saying they only sing one song at a game . Grand Old Flag if we win . I also sing it before a game and love to follow with the national anthem at a blockbuster . Singing is good for you . I have a terrible singing voice .

Happy to see a number of clubs go backwards this year . Tigers - we beat them in the practise game and against Swans showed they have been to the well too many times . Might just make the 8 as the middle of the ladder looks very even and weak . Brisbane , West Coast and not sure about Cats and PA yet . Cameron has me worried . The big improvers with a chance are the Dees and Dogs . Swans too young .

NOW we are starting to get there with a good suggestion from Designer and agreement we need a song . Any others agree ? . I like the song , a great message and easy to sing . Never been tried before to my knowledge . What a wonderful world by Lou Armstrong is great .
