  1. I would like to see all centre circles indigenous style every week. I mean, why not?
  2. No worries. I cant be bothered thinking about it any. ore now,
  3. what you walk past you accept. Its not for Kozz exclusively I suppose. More of a whole club inclusiveness statement.
  4. Would be good for the club to have a dual version. Kids would love it. And koz, may, Jetta, wheels etc respect
  5. When the boys run out this week this should be played
  6. Agreed that VDB is not mu h chop but I wAnt to point out that last week many were saying harmes should be dropped and is no good. Even LJ was mentioned being dropped a couple of weeks ago. Both killed it last night.
  7. And there were better teams, as opposed to this year.
  8. Both incredibly exciting years. This feels better. The next 6 weeks will impact my world for the next 20 years, one way or another. It is just the way it is. No one knows what we have lived through. No one other than us faithfil can appreciate what this would mean to us.
  9. TV commentators are dckheads mate. Amateurs. One of the clowns was going on about how Melk cracks in week in week out. I mean do some research. Every part of that sentence is wrong. Sidenote: Melksham always plays well after a spell and then fades after a month or so. Double sidenote: VDB is pretty ordinary and Sparrow is solid, i like him.
  10. Petty doesnt do much wrong. Very good player as is Bowser who will be the most inexperienced player to play in a Demon premiership in at least 60 years. Enjoy the next 6 weeks fellas.
  11. So it looks as though the actual roles and the names of those roles are a mystery to us who are probably the most analytical and researched fans of all. Surely this is the only sport in the world like this. Dr. Drake helped a touch but no names and it was pretty generalised. It is odd.
  12. Great response. I agree with that entirely.
  13. It dawned on me in another thread that even though I played and coached for over 30 years I actually really dont fully understand some of the fundamentals of today's game. Basically I have no idea what are the specifics and names of the current day roles / positions on the ground. Obviously Ruck, def wingman etc makes sense but what are the actual names of other roles? I heard power forwards and speed forward used a few weeks back. I am sure down the ground vision would explain it. Does anyone know where we can get access to that? If anyone can enlighten me on the roles and names please do.
  14. since his first quarter he has been our best player at the club.
  15. We WILL win it this year. I have never ever thought this is in my 52 years watching. But this is THE year. Our Best is the Best and it is in our hands.
  16. Some of you guys are nasty towards Jack. I dont understand the reasons people hassle him. Every good team needs a nasty little Jack. And ours is as tough as they come. Get off his case.
  17. Yeah not that inspiring really. An in form Jordon is better. Lockhart is the one. I rated him last year. There were a couple of bone headed moments but he is quick and hard. Skills ok.
  18. I agree that Harmes struggled and ideally wouldn't be in our best 22 atm. Who comes in for him though? I am not sure our depth runs deep and we have blessed for the first time ever by the injury gods. Is Laurie ready? It was great to have Bowey's clean disposal albeit under sfa pressure and another clean mid would be gold atm. The thing is though that Harmes at his best is in the best 22. I suppose it is up to him to sort it out quickly or risk losing the chance of a lifetime. Jack is the same to a certain degree but Jacks best is top shelf. I hope he overcomes whatever is holding him back soon. Jacks best position might be the defensive forward. I don't know, in fact I know Jack Sht when it comes to roles within the team. I should no more but the wide angle tv viewing doesn't help at all. In this time of Civid flexibility is it too much to ask for an option of down the ground viewing. I mean what is this? 1970's East Germany? It is what the coaches and players use so I suppose its more than useful. Additionally what is obvious is that Angus has found his niche again and his defensive work early was awesome. And Clayton is the best of our best in last 50 years. From the 1st minute of his first game until the last minute of today he has been phenomenal. Our best work is when we are manic with the 1%s and our best work will be too much for anyone else. We just have to bring it every game and kick straight . Five posters didnt help. All in all a good day and the Chief Healh Officers can go suck on a big fat juicy one while assessing their facebook likes!
  19. Is Clayton our best player since colour tv? I loved Robbie and number 2 was on the duffle coat and I was prob too young to be able to compare properly but I think Clayton's output is better and more consistent.
  20. Probably not. But if that is your main take away from my post, well thats quite ironic and an example of the diminishing priorities and care factor I am talking about.
  21. Don't know mate, nervous! Nervous and Furious. A lethal combination
