  1. Iโ€™d be surprised if 10% of demonlanders apply to what Kate is saying to be honest. An it isnโ€™t about individual people, itโ€™s a general supporter base issue. Iโ€™m not saying everyone that disagrees with her are wrong at all, but genuinely, her comments accurately reflect my experience of going to the footy as a Dees supporter vs seeing how other fan basis going about it. Weโ€™re allergic to aggression? Arrogance? I donโ€™t know what the right word is. But we can be underwhelming on the WHOLE, from my experience.
  2. Richmond and Yze deserve massive credit for that performance. They almost won it. Richmond are going down and this is Carltonโ€™s first realistic chance of being expected to get to a GF. My hat is off to Yze.
  3. That was a goal. The ball changed its spin after it left Curnows boot. Thatโ€™s a wrong decision.
  4. The Freo game was especially embarrassing.
  5. Ok so I donโ€™t know what other peoples are experiences are at the footy but for what itโ€™s worthโ€ฆ Iโ€™ve been to a lot of neutral games over the last decade (jobs giving away free tickets) and my experience is this is absolutely accurate? Dees supporters go quiet when things are going badly unlike any other team. Weโ€™re meek and go into our shells in a heartbeat. Yes you can say, oh game โ€˜xโ€™ was very loud. But I sit in Melbourne members and have for many years now and I feel like I stick out like a sore thumb from how loud I am. From my experience and mine alone, we definitely go quiet when that game goes against us. Itโ€™s just my personal experience so yes it isnโ€™t reliable, but geez, Iโ€™ve experienced this so many times for a very long time.
  6. Iโ€™ll take him for 10 years at $1 million a year then, haha
  7. Iโ€™m wondering how high and long Landersโ€™ would be prepared to go? 5 years, $1.25 million a year? 10 years, $1 million+ a year? What figures would be the top end youโ€™d be happy to go?
  8. I got to see this comment.
  9. Greene is a freak player and hardly ever has a bad game. And when GWS werenโ€™t doing great, he never dropped off.
  10. Itโ€™s been mentioned before but GWS are bloody good to watch. Theyโ€™re so clean and hard at it. And theyโ€™re going to pick up more fans this year I reckon.
  11. 18.6! Giants are deadly
  12. Conversely, Buckley trying to make Collingwood a defensive team then Mccrae comes in and uses the players abilities to their advantage
  13. Giants look so well organised all over the ground. Kingsley has them playing awesome footy to watch
  14. Fast, skilled and very well drilled
  15. Yeah fair. Will always have a soft spot for him and glad heโ€™s doing well
  16. Sigh. Hogan.
  17. How is that a free kick???
  18. If he could write another couple flags for us thatโ€™d be great
  19. What sorcery is this?
  20. Gold coasts disposals have improved a lot since the last few years. They look much more confident
  21. Huge loss. Arguably their most important player in terms of attacking from the back half and remaining composed under pressure. If Coleman played in the second half last night, Brisbane win.
  22. Lyon saying the conditions were humid and tough to play in? If thatโ€™s true then we have no excuse for how we played. Both teams looked like they were in completely dry weather tonight. WTF
  23. Kiddy Coleman was a huge out for Brissy. They didnโ€™t have anyone in the backline with a cool head to quieten the game down. He is also one of the best field kicks. Unironically made a big difference losing him.
  24. Some of the kicking has been elite tonight.
