Right, I'm back and had a good weekend despite Barry Hall's rough stuff and Warnock's inability to run with a sloth. Some observations. 1. I thought the crowd was good. Well behaved and good in number. Very happy for us to go there again. 2. Can the Swans please elect a new leader of the cheer squad. THID - NEY are not a team. 3. Green is a superstar. No two ways about that. Even the well educated Carton supporter beside me couldn't disagree. 4. The changing sheds at Manuka have a good idea. A glass panel so people can look in. All the boys were very dejected after the game and can't have liked all the people looking at them like that. A bit of a rocket. 5. Is there anywhere to eat in Canberra on a Sunday night? 6. All in all some very good things can be taken out of this. Dunn in the Ling mould, when we ran through the middle we looked alright.

Should take longer to get to the airport, than the flight. Can't wait to see if we can put a 4 quarter performance together. Have fun watching it on tv fellas!!!

Timing of the game is terrible for people with families and fathers that have to get up very early in the morning. That's why I wasn't there but make up for it by travelling to Canberra next week

You couldn't have stopped his 1st and the second he camped in the goal square and got lucky when we turned the ball over. Nothing to be worried about. A little more accountability in the midfield would be nice, or is this going to be a shootout?

I was sitting level 3 ponsford stand. Nearly had about 8 punch ups with toothless wonders. When my 3 year old son finally cracked it and wanted to watch his dvd player in the 4th quarter someone also nearly had a swing at me and told me to "turn that flucking thing off, i'm here for the football, even though he had headphones. Very bitter taste in the mouth after this one i'm afraid.

Was anybody else sitting in the immediate vicinity? I was below the fight but it was in the front row of level two and was seen by everybody. Took forever for the cops to arrive and the security guards didn't seem to enthusiastic about stopping it. Haven't seen anything like it in years. Sometime more likely to happen at the cricket.

The only thing that kept me there after half time was the kick on the G with my son after the game. I'd been to every game and had a horrible weekend in Brisbane the week before (got delayed coming home - got back at 2:30am). I'd just had enough. Thank Christ I did. And the bonus was I traded my old guernsey in (that didn't mean much to me) and now i have my most prized possession. A 150 year Demons shirt that I bought on the day of the greatest ever comeback.
