And not a peep out of the commentary team, because they are on the AFL payroll to promote this sub-standard officiating for the ‘good of the game’
-
How is it holding the ball when she kicked it

Very shakey start for our girls. Look very disorganised down back.

Umpiring is awful as usual

Players turning it over: Mithen, Zanker, Goldrich Very fumbly at ground level. Our worst performance this year. Conditions are tough -
AFLW: PF vs North Melbourne

Being outnumbered by North fans. How embarrassing. -
Listening to the bloke from the government in this video, the first one, there was a big emphasis on the natural environment and the keeping of trees. I’ll throw a really obscure idea out. Make a sustainable wood stand, let the trees come up out of seating. Get a small facility in there, that looks like it’s part of the natural landscape. Make it a landmark eco friendly, energy generating, solar powered boutique standout that can host AFLW and we might get some funding. just trying to think outside the box

Thank you, WCW. I think it looks amazing. I was hoping for a traditional panel scarf. It's a ripper. The past few years' designs have been super busy. I like the simplicity of it

Any photos you can share? Did you receive the updated scarf?

AFLW: S7 Average Home Crowd
Kick_It_To_Pickett replied to Demonland's topic in AFLW Melbourne Demons
Only one team bringing the support. I think if it was against Richmond or Collingwood, it’d be pushing 6k. Ikon Park (Princes Park) isn’t exactly the most convenient place to get to. I think Vic Park, Punt Rd and Arden Street are all more likely to pull crowds. I wonder what we would have pulled if it was at Gosch’s Paddock -
Anyone know what the attendance figure was tonight?

Anyone know tonight’s crowd figure? -
If that is looked at, you go all the way to the High Court. Randell recklessly dove at the ball and took the legs of her opponent. If an AFL standard umpire was out there, the free would have been paid the other way. Completely took her legs out. The female umpire this evening had a mare. Missed very obvious free kicks, including a blatant kicking in danger.

The crow throw is back and apparently legal

Go Dees! We are back here. Controlled the entire quarter. Finally getting reward.
-
Finally some long deep kicks into the f50.
-
Pathetic quarter. The handball at all costs game is killing us. The basic errors costly. Missing set shot in front of goal, criminal. Feel like it’s a big waste of time coming here, hope it turns around

Having travelled to Casey to watch the AFLW on the weekend, I am firmly against any move to that area, period! It is over an hour from the CBD. I live in North Balwyn and it took me in excess of 50 mins. Once there, there is no soul at all to the place. It does not represent our supporter base at all. I would be gutted if we were to move out there permanently. It's actually unfair on our AFLW team that they even have to play there. They get very few people watching. Contrast that with the inner city grounds like Punt Road. If anyone thinks we are growing members and fans out there, I challenge your assertion. No one cares about the MFC in Cranbourne. Facts!

Was out at Casey today. The girls were terrific. The lack of game awareness from Daisy at the end was very disappointing. It basically means we have given away any chance of hosting a GF in Melbourne. As others have pointed out though, we missed some very easy shots on goal in the first 3 quarters.

Wonders why he is never considered for coaching gigs. Has the personality of a stone fish

That moron in the crowd is a peasant of the highest order
-
Any other ground and this would be a 60+ point lead.
-
Bannon breaking the lines again and a long range bomb! Sensational

Hore is killing it up forward. Another one goes through. sadly, our association with Casey means that our home games are always sloppy. The wind is a nightmare and the games are never high scoring out there
