Didn’t Port go straight sets two years in a row before winning in 04? Anyway, they certainly lost home finals before winning the flag and they must’ve been under intense scrutiny in Adelaide heading into 04. Just shows anything can happen.

Great job Andy but it just made me angry thinking how close we were, how injuries impacted us and how bloody [censored] our goal kicking was!!!! Let’s beat Carlscum, [censored] the filth, cheer when Viney puts Maynard into next week with the perfect bump, and we win the premiership. Anything less will not be acceptable 😬

First game was against Essendon c1989/90 at the G. Pretty sure we won. Next was against the Bears at Carara. Capper was running around in the two’s by then and we only won by 3 or 4 goals from memory. It was quite a difference in atmosphere that’s for sure!

Dad grew up in Norwood and supported the Redlegs. When he started watching VFL it was simply that the Demons are the same colours.

Great. I’m flying to Melbourne from Alice the same weekend of gather round, hoping I could see the Dees play in Melbourne, something I haven’t done in about 10 years. Thanks AFL FFS. Even any game would have been good… Hope we play at home the following weekend when I fly home.
