I have watched him and our actual academy players but not many others. So I’m not sure if we end up getting a pick around his draft ranking if there’s better options or not. Big lad isn’t he!

Watched a bit of the hawks v bombers vfl game today. Some nice tall forwards in there. Liam McMahon Kayle Gerreyn Max Ramsden Also liked the look of Henry Hustwaite in this game. I haven’t watched many hawks vfl games so might be a one off I’m not sure!

If the board can’t see we ALL need a fresh start in 2026 with a new coach then I hope they’re not shocked when the crowd numbers are even lower, when we finish bottom 2, when membership numbers are even lower than this year, When more players want to leave and are unhappy. They better not ask us to step up and get to games and buy a membership. They know where the fans stand and what they want. Even I feel drained from this year and the last two… I can’t imagine how the players feel.

I think it’s time we get rid of the players who are thinking of wanting out or want out. Starting with Trac and Oliver as the first two. We stuffed up with the contracts in some ways but how were we to know this would all happen. This is group is severely disconnected and it’s showing. It’s time to part ways now with those two as a starting point. There’s zero doubt the ly loved this club so much but it’s clearly gone and they can’t move past it and it’s lingering in them.

I think Trac looks in the mirror now and says I am part of the problem. I look back now and think we might as well have traded Trac and Oliver when we had the chance. Absolute stinkers those two.

I’ve had a couple of run-ins with swans fans but at the SCG. Worst one was when Howes took that hanger and we got flogged. I was about 16 years old and went up to the toilet with about 9 minutes left in the game (was coming back to watch the rest) and copped it from everyone as I went up the steps because they thought I was leaving and had lots to say. Back then I was in shock at what they were saying because I was only young and never experienced that yet. Mind you most saying things were 50+ year old men. Now I’d have more to say haha

Before the age article I was sure he was gone. Since reading it I’m more confident at this point he stays. He was honest In saying yes he gets homesick a lot but the club allows him to go home when he needs and trusts him to get his training done which he really appreciates. He knows he will get homesick for the rest of his career(if he does stay) as he has through out his career so far. Just about managing it. Had Melbourne not been so good with allowing him to go home when he needs and staying for longer when the club is playing over there he would 100% have been out the door when the first contract was up I have no doubt.
