Hi all! I just wanted to get everyone else’s thoughts on our recent family days done on a pre season game day. Is this the new thing and I’m not with the times? They haven’t announced the 2025 family day but it crossed my mind. Why don’t we do the traditional family days? Last years one was a stinker. Anyone else hate them like that? Here is hoping next years one is back to its old self.

What’s Tracs attitude like with the players and in general? seem happy? Seem to love the club again?

I must say I haven’t been confused until I did it myself! No worries! Love seeing everyone’s thoughts. I feel like for the first time in a few years this is one of our most important drafts we really need to get right. What do you think? (I know the aim is to always get them right but this year it’s a must with two top ten picks)

Allen does look good! Personally for me it’s Langford and Reid. Two Vic boys. Just don’t want Armstrong at all!

Yep to me he has great calmness and footy IQ. Great speed and burst from contests. Loves a goal which is what we want from a mid.

I’m going off highlights so obviously only see the good stuff but watching Murphy Reid’s highlights he actually is growing on me a little. Wouldn’t be sad if we picked him at 9

Could see JVR as a future captain for sure. In a few years I can definitely see a leadership group with Rivers JVR and Mcvee in it

I love my night games but I’ll have a one year old next year so I’d low key be okay with day games. He is obsessed with the Melbourne theme song and it also calms him down during a crying fit so would love for him to hear it at the games. Hopefully at the end of the game also!

I reckon we pick up Langford at 5 and Armstrong at 9 although I’d rather another midfielder with this pick

Hopefully this puts to rest people constantly having a bit of a sook as to why we couldn’t land a big fish or didn’t do a whole lot of trading… What he said was a prime example of how most players would have felt if Our name popped up.
