I wonder if McAdam or even Viney (if they think it’s more serious) end up on the list someone like luamon lual or Seamus Mitchell could come in and play a small lock down defender whilst Bowey isn’t playing or AMW isn’t ready? Not sure if there’s anyone else that could come in but they’re the two names that come to mind

This is exactly the mentality I knew most players had under Goodwin. Not one ounce of worry about getting dropped for poor form that it actually comes as a shock to them? Yes eventually he got dropped but it was a few weeks from when it actually should have happened.

A lot of my friends say ‘at least you’ve seen one’ I always say, my family (including all you demon fans) and I have been going for years which included a time of absolute beltings, couple of nearly winless seasons, pouring rain and cold. A time we thought our club may no longer be around and a time we were lucky to get a few thousand at the G. There’s no way I’m the only one who sat at my seat at the G, soaking wet surrounded by 5000 other demon fans thinking ‘it’ll all be worth it when we see a flag at the G’ with a slight eye twitch haha All for it to be in Perth

I love how we are bolting inside 50 but also taking a look if there’s a player open for a set shot. I’m all for a player having a crack at goal but sometimes it’s okay to look for a quick option when you’re about to become under pressure. Example - Kozzy at 30 secs, Melks at 48 secs and Trelly at 1min

I’d be shocked if he doesn’t have a break out season. He’s been one of our best trainers as well.

When I first got to training he was doing a drill with about 9 others and he took a strong grab over a couple of them and I remember thinking ‘Who is this kid!’ I watched him as much as I could and I was really impressed by him.

Only spent about an hour and bit there today but this is what I noticed. Maxy - Ran and ran today. Super fit! Culley - In everything and can see him being a main midfielder but probably just holds onto it that little bit too long. Windsor - Speed to burn! Kentfield - Great mark he is. Trelly - Kid looks very good. Excited by him. Langford - Gets the ball, kicks it to a good option then continues to push hard to receive the handball and get the ball going forward. Working really hard. Lever and Aj stood out for me when a few keys were doing one on one when the ball was kicked up in the air. A couple of great marks. Kotl - Also saw him take a few decent marks when they were doing a little match sim (pretty sure that’s what they were) but his kicking after them let him down. Also ran really hard to add pressure on his opponent which would cause a turn over.

From the bits I saw today, it seemed AJ was way to strong when they versed each other in the ruck around the ground.

Yep thought he was running around the boundary well!
