Hoping everyone who attended had a great time and the kids had fun with their idols. I really hope the club realises how important these type of days are for supporters especially the kids. It makes you fall in love with the club all over again and remember why you love supporting them even during hard times. Can’t wait to see you all at G against the Saints.

I’m not worried about falling a little further down the ladder, I’m expecting it tbh and I’m okay with that. New coach, new game plan and three good players in Oliver, Trac and Mcvee leaving. Most likely be another clean out next year with Retirements from May, Melksham, Campbell, McAdam and Tmac Possible make or break for Laurie, Jeffo, Kentfield, Aj, Sharp, Howes and Henderson. Could see leaving: Fritsch and Sparrow. JVR, Kozzy, Bowey, Windsor, Langford, Lindsey, Turner, Rivers, Culley is a very good young core. I’m hoping Xtaylor, Onley, White, Matthews, Kentfield, AMW, Heath, Tholstrup, Jefferson, Adams, Howes, Mentha and Trelly can join that list (highlighted ones are who I think make it) Chandler, Petty, Sparrow and CJ still have lots of footy left. I think we go down before we go up but I don’t think it’s for very long.

Love clarry but I couldn’t give a stuff if he wins two Brownlows and makes AA every year until retirement. It was not working anymore at our club and it was time to move on. The guy couldn’t even thank the fans for all the support over the years. Steele would have been upset also but still found the time to thank the club and supporters. Shows the maturity difference.

Who ever called a Tim Lamb special of a no photo draft you’re a legend 😆 But I feel like we had a midfield steal at this pick and we didn’t take it.

As we get closer to our pick the more I hope for Greeves. Although, his defensive work worries me.

Pickett was most likely getting picked around the 14-20 mark by the sounds of it. In what they have called a poor draft I’m not surprised we took a risk with him. The fact we could still get someone like HH or Greeves at our next pick is pretty decent for us. In a different draft maybe he is a later pick and maybe in this draft recruiters rated him higher compared to follow draftees. Let’s back him and show support, he is one of us now.

HH and Greeves still on the board which I think we take one of to add to our midfield. Onley also interesting. I reckon Essendon will go X Taylor, Lachy Dovaston and then Sharp. They probably know we are more likely to take Dove than Sharp

I reckon we go hard at trying to trade in a pick for Pickett. Just my feeling. We’ll go Nairn, Farrow and try hard for Pickett

Would prefer Dovaston than Farrow when it comes to what position they play. Being a VIC boy also puts him higher for me.

I mean you’d hope so but as you can see I was talking about the younger players who are the future of the club that will eventually set the standards as senior players one day..

Praying a X Taylor or Cumming falls to us. Won’t happen but would be massive. Can only hope Richmond and Essendon decide on Farrow and Sharp, which they have been linked.

Left when some were heading into the rooms. My observation was correct with the kicking being a problem but it’s good they’re putting in the work! That’s exactly what we want. These young fellas seem to care about getting better as individuals and as a group. We are in a very good place with these young players.

Finally got to attend a training session! Love getting down when I can. Love how CJ takes it on. Windsor has wheels but his kicking really needs to get better. I must say most of the kicking were either to their feet or nearly over their head. Second week back so all is forgiven but they’d really want to get better at it soon or there’s going to be a lot of frustration in the stands by us supporters haha
