Hi all! I’m heading up to Sydney for round 0 and wondering who else on here is going too? There’s no organised pre match meet up as demon army will be busy getting everything ready and nsw demons not being able to do so either being a Thursday night. I’d love to organise a meet up place with any other demon fans going up during the day and have a few pre game drinks if anyone Is interested :)

We are staying about a 20 min walk or 7 min Uber drive away from the scg so that’s fine! Just would love to have a few drinks with other Melbourne fans and then head to the ground :)

Good to hear some thing out game plan seems to be at a faster pace. We seemed to love for the ball to head into our defence, flood it and then go quick to our forward line leaving opposition defenders nervous and not organised in Our premiership year. That has change in the last two seasons. We took way to long leaving other teams to do exactly what we did to them to us.

I’m on auto renewal and called up a month ago saying everyone in my household got theirs. They looked up my name and said ‘oh, you didn’t tick to receive your pack) I definitely did as I do every other year. Plus my household and I all did it at the same time and checked to make sure everyone had done it correctly. double check with the club or it may not be coming at all!

My late grandfather went to his first game as a late teenager ( was born overseas) and it was melbourne V Collingwood. His friends all went for Collingwood and said he needs to pick a team, his friends assumed he’d pick Collingwood but he wanted to be different and picked Melbourne. Then his kids went for Melbourne and now us grandkids are all Melbourne and my baby has no choice but to go for Melbourne!

If petty doesn’t go but we got pick 7 and Haynes would we offer pick 5 (or is it pick 6?) and 11 for pick 1? Or would pick 5(pick6)and 7 be more realistic you reckon?

If there’s a player besides Reid we really want and we know he most likely won’t be there with the picks we have now I say go for it.

If he is meeting with them whilst contracted do you get the feeling once it’s up he’ll leave?

They’re so bad I told my pie mate the day before the grand final I just don’t want Howe to get a premiership because of how badly he talks about Melbourne.. the response was ‘wow how soft are you that you get upset someone said something about your club?’ Guess who’s lost their cool since mays comments haha the melts were hilarious
