Not sure how people on here would know what the negotiations are inc what the club is offering Jack

I challenge anyone who’s had babies only a few months old to move them with a new mum to another state with no family support, the stresses would be enormous as Jack alluded they almost come back, not making excuses as many other afl clubs had similar challenges but they would all vary not knowing health & state of both baby, mum & dad

He’s bled for the team deserves a long contract a leader in every way ... should have been captain. Nothing against Gawn or at least dual captain though players voted. We just don’t realise how hard was for him and other players as a new father with a baby having to go into a hub away from family support...

Very sad end.... looking back was very unfortunate he come into a club which was a train wreck built on tanking & the idea that early draft picks would fix the issues of climbing the ladder & getting success, poor kid was gifted games & thrown to the Wolves Cleary not ready, having said that from 2014 the environment under Roos become stable & was given every opportunity & started to turn the corner but just not sure wether he truly wanted it anymore

Ultimately actions speak louder than words & they all need to look at the consistent issues of dropping games against lower placed sides as it’s cost a finals spot in both 2020 & 2017 & a top 4 spot in 2018. Whole footy dept needs to be reviewed inc coaches.

Well said Max & I’m sure he means it but why didn’t we hear this from Goodwin at his presser after the Essendon game??? The real question is why does this group continue to drop games?? We’re is the leadership or culture to stop this ad it’s like a broken record!

Great times & heartache of 87 & 88... believed 1990 was our best chance as top 5 was very even, missing the double chance plus that drawn final pies v WC... He got the best out of the team!

Just watched dogs highlights & clearly show a team wanting to play finals, with their tackling, toughness & intensity ... Roos would be scratching his head on our tackling.

He’s ignored the rules which the other players have respected, cost the club 50k, risked the whole comp... stop rewarding bad behaviours ffs!

Most of the footy experts are not surprised & expected us to not play finals as we can’t be trusted, we lack the grit, we lack steel, we lack leadership, we lack culture and we lack a coach who just can’t fix the same issues after 4 seasons. Perennial losers & what will the next video be of achieving zero again.

Exactly spot on & unfortunately perceptions are created & one questions is this the core of the reasons why they drop games? Do they get ahead of themselves? Certainly looked that way @ 3/4 time, imagine if they were chasing %?? Understanding players are not robots but clowning around @ coach address on the field sends a poor message. Viney was pinched and would have been great for the leaders to have addressed this on the ground as VC along with Gawn!

You must be watching another team... I’m sorry we need to call it as it is! The same issues continue since Goodwin took over, they failed to secure a finals spot losing to bottom teams just like 2017... if your happy with 1 finals appearance since 06 well that sums up our supporters base
