PODCAST: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
I said this a few weeks ago on one of the Demonland topics, with the new game plan relying on speed and skill more i think selection changes of Kolt, Spargo, Howes are not to be over looked. in the future i see Bill Laurie and of course McVee to also come in, which mean less disposals but better skill which will require less disposals. We are going to get score against easier with this game plan but it is the way fwd, i am a little worried about how often a defender leaves his man to help leaving an easy over the top handball to an open player forward of the ball, often in the middle of the ground which allows that player all options when delivering inside 50. But we are going to have these teething issues for a bit. On a side note, how good was it to here Tom Morris's bit on footy classified about Petracca after the game, 1 - to here how invested he sounds to be, 2 - to actually have some positive media about the Dees and Trac! Happy Easter gents

PREGAME: Rd 04 vs Geelong
yup, my thoughts exactly. same as Spargo. if 80% of our team use the ball better then accumulation wont be an issue

I think with this new games style we are playing. I'd like to see Windsor, Kozzie, McVee, Lindsay, Spargo and Laurie in the team. These guys will handle the ball better than some of our players with the quicker style play, with Bowie, Chin and to a lesser extent Salem. The game plan could work. But there is big change, and tough calls on guys like T-Mac, Sparrow, Fritsch, Howes, Viney and Rivers(role not spot)

PODCAST: Rd 03 vs Gold Coast
The AFL is now going to defense, and to use a basketball term "creating a stop", Then sling shot off turnover with speed, real speed. Unfortunately we don't have the personnel for this yet. Kossie, Windsor and Lindsey will help with that. But this year is clearly about moving to a new game plan, and it unfortunately is going to leave Viney, behind and it will take away from Trac and Oliver's 1 wood. They are Good enough to adapt and work in with the new game plan, i hope Viney can too. The big question is, with a rebuild on the run and a change of game plan this will take a bit of time, do you guys see Goody surviving? i have always been a defender of him but history says coaches don't survive this period.

PODCAST: Rd 02 vs North Melbourne
What are your thoughts on Goody bringing up the Gawn "issue" i thought that was a mistake. And after a year of being in the media spotlight, this dragged us straight back in. I assume he asked Max and hope all is OK. But thought that should be out of the media. Was a strange thing to say. Poor performance, but I won't jump at shadows just yet, Collingwood were wooden spooners after round 0.

GAMEDAY: Rd 01 vs GWS
I'm not to worried about the weather and our fitness. I am a little worried about GWS having that game under their belt, the sides that have played already have looked a bit cleaner this week skills wise, where last week the games were pretty average in that regard. Hopefully we are on!
