Panic footy... breeds the same at the next link. Oliver has to slow down a fraction, and deliver the ball properly. And because he is so good at getting to the drop of ball, and getting hands on it, our other mids competing with him do the same; from Oli's lead. We winning the footy in the middle, but losing the war from there, because of panic manic footy. Its been starting with Oli's untidiness with ball use. It appears like its all about him. His carelessness with the ball, is IMO, self centered,

Exactly, and his direction of the ball s either low to feet, or high, above the head. He's too cocky by half, and has stopped putting in his old physical work. That hit on Selwood back in 2018 final, where Bt and everyone said, "boy oh boy, did you see that",..... nothing since from Oli. -

Its his lack of movement. He will not run and move enough, kicks off a step, etc. He's lazy. -

It all statrs from the middle the bounce. If we start cleanly with composure, it rolls on. If we start with a panic ball that t rolls on. Oliver is starting us off in a panic. -

He's smoking his own sweat, or something else because he looks ramshackle and off his tree. -

I've been taking notice of Oliver, and to a lesser extent Braysaw over the last few weeks. Oli consistently flicks the ball off and when the ball leaves the area he stops. When Oliver has to tackle, often the tackle slips off. Allowing the opponent away. So many of Oliver's physical efforts at opposition are impotent. He has allowed his game and efforts since 2018 to just jog along, like he does. He needs a big attitude change. -

No.! Our problem is the midfield use of the ball, Oliver s crucifying his teammates with irresponsible use. He starts the panic ball rolling, once he dishes it off. -

Oliver lacks composure. He would be the very first player i would stop taking caffeine tablets; because he doesn't need over stimulation. He needs to slow his reactions a bit so he has time to think, to look first. Did his mum never teach him to look first, before crossing the road. -
What, a professional Poo jogger.

Not enough composure with ball. He has to make better judgements. -

He is too Manic, once he has the ball. he has to be composed once he wins ball. -

Jackson only played a half apparently, in the scratch match. I wonder IF they have planted him into the Gym, almost full time.? -
LoL. HaHaHa, OK. I see your fixed, in thinking, so I can't help that. cheers.

I hope Weide and Harley stay for a little while really building their form. Weide to get some real form and confidence overhead. And Harley to really up his workrate and fitness. Dunkley is an interesting one. Was he playing inside like a centreman, Luter.?

That's right, rucks will rest in the pocket, because they can't go off the ground. rovers same. The interchange has totally changed the whole game so much, it has removed the special forward pocket like daicos/bartlett. The 2nd ruck like Paul Salmon, Gary Baker. The special wingman... The Bruce Doull's. The one-on-one matchup's, of Star V's Star. Robbie Flower V's Brian Peake, out at VFL park Waverley. There is far more than just making another single rule to fix the mess they have made, with so many changes over the past Qtr Century. The game is on It's knees, because highly educated people's arrogance; that they know better, and can do anything and cannot fail. Such is there own intelligence. Arrogance personified.! #edit: These same AFL Directors have followed the lead of Directors of Major companies, globalising their companies, out-sourcing their companies to avoid taxes, and seeking to maximising margins, at the expence of worker Australians. Its the very same attitude that has caused our underemployment, and unemployment, and less money to spend locally with our own local businesses. Greed.!!!

It will go close. If that's not enough, After having removed all the ridiculous rules of the past 25 years. Then after some time, we could put more of a handbrake on them. Like cutting out stimulants, and other supplements. And also limiting the hours spent at the club, training. You see the thing is, it's not just the congestion. But other things also, like the push in back interpretations, and a host of other laws added into the game. So many changes, that everyone, including umpires, have been confused at an intuitive level; that it impacts everyone's instinctive responses. Including our watching on the TV, or when live at the ground. Even to the point of changing our goal umpires unique attire. Our Unique game has become just another hybrid, of sports from around the world games. This is OUR game born and bred within Australia. .

More changed rules are Not the answer. You younger guys are exactly the same as those AFL directors, who have changed all the old rules out, across the past 25Yrs. Unwittingly, altering the game away from what its uniqueness was. The way to undo the mess, is to undo all the rule changes over the past 25 years. This will take the game back, largely, to what it was.

What; Demons Manly beach-side adventure.

Small.? I'm suggesting throwing the rule book into the fire; and resurrecting the 1990 rule book. That's not a small rule change.
