Trade Targets
You mean Waterman and his manager are. This clown has been injured, sick or ordinary bar 10 games of his career. He now wants more money. No [censored] policy may be required here.

Trade Targets
Of course Iād take the flag but we donāt know that. what we do know Tasmania are about to raid the draft, making the next few years so important. Kalani White may well go to the GCS, for mine that feels the most likely but Iāve no idea. Our top pick (pick 8-12ish) surely needs to go to the best young mid with clean skills and a bit of pace. We all know where our midfield rates currently. If we could get Houston for a future first and a pack of chips Iād be less concerned. 2 first round picks is simply overs for a 28 year old.

Caleb Windsor Could Miss the Rest of 2024
Bad luck for the kidā¦.Sparrow likely in and maybe Woewodin to the wing??

The Run Home
I reckon I could pick a winner with a top 5 pick, itās picks 6-30 where the magic needs to happen.

Trade Targets
Still way overs for a 28 year old HBF. As much as I like what Houston would bring next year I canāt see it not biting us if we are forced to overpay.

Christian Petraccaās 2024 Season Ending Injuries
It was reported in the media (The Age) last week. He's starting light running which he's very excited about. When asked will he be back for the later finals if Melbourne were in it he said he's strictly no contact for 3 - 4 months. (Which I took as meaning if we're in the GF he'll play out of the square and kick 6)

Calm the farm........Take a look at our close losses and our draw. Add in the loss of Gus, Petracca and the down year of Oliver. I'm not surprised by where we sit but let's stick to the facts as to why we sit there. I was a Goodwin knocker for awhile there but that came more out of the frustration of last years finals....Bugger....There I go again, bringing up those damn games and a weak pies flag that should be ours.

What was your excuse?
I picked the crowd of 16,000 and I wasn't one of them so I feel that evens out the good and bad. I'd still like some sort of prize though.

PREGAME: Rd 21 vs Western Bulldogs
The debate about where we finish is moot. The players and coaches will be giving it everything to win and keep winning. We can argue what's best but it won't change that fact. Personally I think the Hawks have that '87 Demons vibe about them and will keep on winning...even saying that makes me vomit a little in my mouth. I'm loving the Dogs atm as well. For those who think we're best off admitting defeat how say you if we roll the Dogs and Suns? I look at our fixture and above all else I want this team to smash the Pies, that will do me as I think we're better set for next year than we were for this year once we lost Gus.

PREGAME: Rd 20 vs GWS
Kynan weighs all of 65kgs and is just on our list. Heās way too raw to be playing in a must win game against a battle hardened team like GWS. Heās a year or 2 away if heās good enough to keep improving. Racking up tackles in a VFL slogfest is a great effort but it doesnāt make him AFL ready. The FD are doing their job.

The Run Home
I was definitely of the mind we push hard for finals and presume thatās what the club will continue to do. However after watching us against Freo Iāll take the better draft pick and reload for 2025. In saying that Iād be more than happy to win our remaining matches, finish top 4 and take the flag. Iām taking the bet each way approach.

Dan Houston
Heās exactly what we need, an athletic ruck/forward who can crumb his own ball.

The Run Home
Goal kicking from close range is all between the ears, Fritsch, McDonald and others couldnāt get it done when it mattered most. Had we played a disciplined, team first approach against Carlton we would have won by 4-6 goals. For mine we couldnāt handle the pressure, dare I mention it but it started with the selection of you know who. Anywho letās not go back there, it ranks high as a massive missed opportunity and the fact an ordinary Collingwood won the flag just makes it so much worse, not to mention losing Gus to the club.

The Run Home
Really? Why do you think we missed so many easy shots on goal in the Collingwood final if it wasnāt the pressure? Why else did we literally š© the bed against Carlton if it wasnāt the pressure?
-
Dan Houston
How do we do this without ending up over spending? Heās 2 years too old for mine at the price theyāll be demanding
-
Dan Houston
Even when Oliver gets back to his best we need some more class and run through the middle.
