  1. He’s bigger enough to impose himself. The Pies aren’t big
  2. He’s Watts Mark 2 by that description
  3. You said that not me. I stayed that of course I compare them. They’re the 2 young key forwards we’ve recruited. The fact you no longer want to discuss this is a relief to me
  4. As I’ve said I’d love him to prove me wrong and that my opinion is worthless. I just see what I see. And of course I compare him to JVR as that’s the comparison of young forwards we have. Jefferson can’t yet hold his shoulders up, he looks beaten before he begins
  5. JVR strengths contest and physicality marking kicking nous Jefferson strengths marking when alone
  6. I’m a believer in TDK coming on board. Turn him into a forward alongside JVR.
  7. It’s how he’s moving that concerns me most. He makes Gawn look fast. Darcy Moore would run off him like a gleeful kid from his grandma. You talk structure like Brown will add to that, care to explain? JVR did just fine on Weitering by the way
  8. I’ve watched Jefferson’s last 5 games. He does have a reasonable set of hands, maybe knitting could be his thing? ………apologies I’m advance to all those shocked at my criticism.
  9. I’ll admit I’m a hard judge of players. I also use my feeling of a players impact more than the stats. Sure Jordan got plenty ball today but he’s just so vanilla. Could he replace ANB? That’s about his best chance and we know how hard that’s going to be for him.
  10. Poor player management. If Smith can’t lock away a spot after 3-4 weeks then Schache deserves 3-4 weeks.
  11. Schache is miles in front atm
  12. It’s a VFL game. Name a clear strength he has and who does he replace at the level?
  13. For an AFL listed player and looking at the way he moves I’d have to disagree. Maybe ok for a VFL player but he should retire effective immediately. I was a bit harsh on Jordan but what I’m getting at is he’s got no great strength to bring to our game.
  14. Turner doing alright. Jordan’s not the answer, very average Casey win by a point
  15. Brown tried to jump off the ground, a piece of paper wouldn’t have fitted under his boot.
  16. Lockhart gives away a 50 Brown unable to impact contest Sharks run the ball out. Casey free at HB
  17. Schache kicks his fourth playing ruck.
  18. Schache full time in the ruck this half. jefferson not imposing himself Howes a few possessions Brown sets up Schache Dee’s back in front
  19. Woewodin, Laurie both relatively quiet sharks about to hit the front 5 points up
  20. Sharks are bigger bodies 1 point the gap
  21. There’s Brown, running at exactly the same pace Cliff Young runs at
  22. Watching and is Brown even on the ground? Jefferson marks and shanks the kick
  23. Hardly a soft free but yes he should have taken the mark
  24. Another reason not to play him.
  25. Our first half was reasonably tough. When you’re in the top 2-4 teams, you’ve got more soft games than tough just on a ladder position perspective. However I’d say all bar 3 sides are pretty tough games, especially at their home grounds, often interstate in different conditions with hostile crowds and different sized grounds.
