I believe you that we may be reading way too much into this, but how can you personally be sure that we haven't made a decision at 3 or 8 already?

Is this simply an opinion? They might not even match if we bid.

To me this suggest we might not be taking Young. I don't think we would take both Young and Ash.

They are not going to trade us 7, 10 & 22 for 3, that is laughable

Same boat here, really hope we don't take Jackson. If we are playing games (which I don't think we are), we are doing a good job. If we somehow manage to get Freo's 7 & 10 for 3, it will have worked, and we should be happy.

Would be great to have two gun small forwards. We would be so much more dangerous up forward. Weightman would be my choice of the two, by a fair margin. A safer pick.

Bid on Green at 3 (& hope we land him), otherwise pick Young. Trade 8 to Freo for 10 & (something around 22), lets say pick 23. Pick Weightman at 10, Pickett at 23.

They were basing it on “need” though, not on who was actually going to get picked by clubs. Plus they weren’t including trading of picks.

I’d rather him at 10, with another pick from Freo.

Top 2 are best mates, which GC believe gives them a better chance at retaining them up there.

I was actually wondering the other day if there is any chance he might go at 3. He is the type of player we like (and no I'm not taking about his kicking). I can picture Goody liking him.

Yeah, I've taken my time, but I've finally decided I hope we use pick 3 to draft Young. I hope we don't split pick 3, but don't mind if we split pick 8. I still believe we are going to draft Weightman with our second pick anyway, so if we can split it, get Weightman & get Pickett also, even better.

After listening to Young interviewed on a Road To The Draft Podcast episode, I was very impressed. More sure than ever that we will take him at 3.

But we do leak for a bunch of other players, in the same range?

It matters in that we have been linked to most of the players in the top group, but not him (as far as what I have heard). This could suggest that he is not up there in our thinking. I could be wrong about this of course. I was hoping someone else may have heard that we rate him highly. This doesn't mean that we won't draft him of course. Anything (within reason), could happen.

People are missing my main point here. I have never heard him linked to us. Not once. Has anyone ever heard linked to the Dees?

I would love us to grab Dylan Stephens, with either of our picks. But I can’t recall him being linked to us in any way. Am I missing out on something here?

We need X factor, but not with him at 8. Maybe if we get a pick in the 30’s, via trading.
