  1. Plus you would think that Green would be bid on before 6, so we shouldn’t loose one place in the draft order, in that scenario anyway
  2. 3 top ten picks would be a massive win, hope your right
  3. 7, 8 & 10 would be the ideal draft hand, hope your right
  4. Cool. Yeah I can't remember us trading out our 2nd from next year, so i guess we can trade a 2nd for 2020
  5. I'm not sure if I'm right about this, but is it ok to trade the 2nd, because it came from the Hawks?
  6. Also, I doubt this is true to start with, as I heard Henry will not be bid on till 10-15
  7. If true, this would be the ideal result for us. But I agree, I don't think that Bell would go for it, unless we threw in next years 2nd or similar, to make the trade look better on paper.
  8. Would love to land Stephens, exactly what we need (all though we need a small forward in Weightman too)
  9. What I found interesting is it says GWS have been linked to him with a top ten pick. This must mean they still think they are a chance to draft him before Green
  10. They are worth a watch. Get to see Young, Serong, Flanders etc
  11. The Vic Country games are on AFL.com.au if you want to watch them
  12. Don’t get me wrong, I would like us to pick him up. Unfortunately we don’t have an appropriate pick atm
  13. Saying he is like Spargo or Parish is pretty funny. For starters he is a small forward, not a small mid. Maybe watch a video or two of his games, you would never make those comparisons.
  14. So looks like you're basing your entire opinion on Weightman on having no vision of him. Right. Name one decent source that has Pickett above Weightman..
  15. No one is saying to compare Young’s ability to Hibberd’s. They are comparing what position/role he could play in our team. No one is saying that Young is better or worse than Hibberd, just what “type” of player he is.
  16. There is video of a lot of these guys playing here (you can watch it on Apple TV too, if you have one): https://www.afl.com.au/news/game-development/nab-afl-rising-star-program/u18s
  17. Firstly, I'm no expert. But after watching actual video of games, I considered who was the one player that really stood out. For me, it was Caleb Serong, he just seemed to have that star quality potential. He reminded me a bit of a young Toby Green, minus the attitude. The next pick has hard, but I chose Cody Weightman. He will be a serious goal kicker, and you can't have enough of them. It would change our whole forward line if we picked both of them, and I assume we could. But part of me, with pick 8, would like us to take Dylan Stephens. Outside mid, Gaff like but young, exactly what we need. I wouldn't mind at all if we used 8 on him.
  18. We may want GWS to trade their next years 1st, for someone else’s pick from this years draft. At least that way we know what pick we are getting.
  19. This. Plus, people are saying he is quick. He’s not slow, but I don’t think he’s quick. Plus I’m not sure if you want to draft someone playing in his position at 3.
  20. Cal said Weightman could go between 10-20. He is one of this year’s bolters
  21. I could be wrong, but I haven't heard Melbourne or GWS say that an offer of 6 & 2020 1st was actually made. I know it was in the media a lot, but I haven't actually heard it from the clubs themselves. I suspect we would like to balance our draft hand, going into next years draft, for many reasons, for example, if we want to trade in a player for 2 first rounders. For that reason, I suspect we will take the offer, unless we get a better one from another club.
  22. Would love for Bell to have to agree to this too
  23. Bonar isn’t going to North. Maybe Essendon, which would be 31 or 33.
  24. If they get 3 off us, they get 2 top 5 picks
