  1. Hayden Young has had a tremendous season. He would look great in the red and blue
  2. In the original story broke by Morris. The article says that the problems Trac has with the club does not include the coach. Morris made a big point of this.
  3. Plausible deniability. Could work. The press conference where he clears the air will be box office. Not sure how he walks back some of this stuff but that’s what PR consultants are for. He has expressly stated Goody is not part of the problem. I’m sure he will be by his side for the public reconciliation. He will have to shield Trac from the public while he is being re-integrated back into the fold and help mend fences with his teammates. Goody is critical to all this We’re going to have 6 weeks of de-stabilisation ahead of which trac will be totally to blame. It is still a distinct possibility he burns his bridges to such an extent there is no way back. No matter what way you look at this it is a big mess, and the outcome is still very much up in the air.
  4. I’m deducing based on the information in the public realm. He wants to be traded. That’s not in any doubt at this stage. He wants to play for a big Victorian club. That’s not coming from the MFC. It’s disparaging to the club so makes no sense for the club to say this. We know Trac wants to build his brand so this would only come from him The club do not want to trade. It makes no sense for them to leak what’s been leaked. The problems with the top office, the way the Clarry situation was handled. It all reflects badly on the club. It only makes sense if it’s coming from Trac’s side.
  5. The club have said no trade (and a fair trade is highly unlikely anyways). It’s the only stance that makes sense. Trac’s leaking is torching us and the club. I don’t think it’s very smart to leave himself without a pathway back to the fold. He is being very badly advised. The long-term contract means the club holds the upper hand. I’m sure I would agree with him about a lot of the issues at the club but the way he’s gone about it demonstrates clearly a very selfish streak. He wants out and doesn’t care about damaging the club to achieve this. He has a lot of back pedalling to do. It’s going to be interesting to see how he goes about that. I’m not even sure its tenable given how he has trashed the club. Very interesting times.
  6. Just spent close to an hour getting up to speed on this thread this morning. Not good for my productivity.
  7. I can't get past the fact he says he wants to play for a big Victorian club. It's very disrespectful to the MFC. I don't know how he walks back that remark if a trade can't be done. Maybe I'm being overly sensitive but i can't see myself cheering his name if he lines up for us in round 1 next year.
  8. I'm surprised with posters taking Trac's side against the club. No player is bigger than our club. Great player and gave his all on the pitch. we can't fault his effort in that regard. He's been through a tough time with the injury but i have to say, it comes across like he's the first player to ever experience a bad injury. His body language hasn't been great this season. He's made stupid comments in the past about us not making enough noise. He's made a right mess of this. Why sign a 7 year contract if you want to opt out at the first sign of trouble for the club? Trac isn't invested in our club so best we do our best to facilitate a trade. Love bomb McKay i say and try to convince him to switch. It's going to be awkward if a trade can't be brokered. I don't want to accept someone back into the fold that said they don't want to be with us. What a clusterf this is. Thanks Trac.
  9. We've signed him to a long term deal so we've protected the clubs interest. If he leaves it will be on our terms not his.
  10. Port Dogs GWS have a good record against the Swans so i tip them for an upset Lions
  11. GWS because they have no fans so won’t have to deal with any gloating. and who voted for Carlton? I suggest a site ban for a while to help get their mind right.
  12. I think he’s cooked.
  13. in a team of ball butchers, Jordan Clark is the worst of the lot
  14. not to worry. the Lions will belt Carlton at the Gabba next week
  15. Walters has to do much better there. had time. just no composure
  16. Freos I50 delivery is putrid
  17. Freo are shi**ing the bed here. Typical dockers
  18. very dubious tats on jacksons arms.
  19. Horne-Francis is a gun
  20. Freo no guarantee. it would be typical of them to let everyone down
  21. if the draft is deep this year we should look at trading our future first for another top 10 pick. You would think we are attractive as quite possible next years pick could be high as well. Maybe Freo will trade with us? Deathride them again. that would be fun.
  22. BT says carlton out of the finals as it stands. do your homework you prat
