BLOODY BLUES by Meggs
Bloody injuries! brilliant second half of the year but injuries and fixtures did us ultimately plenty of positives though. Really looking forward to Pisano Campbell and Gall developing further and hopefully Beasley can recover and show us what she can do. Tayla back will be huge as well. Go Dees.

cowboys very close to cooked for the year. Dak left the game due to a hammy and CD Lamb in a lot of discomfort with his shoulder. must win game next week v the Eagles but given all the injuries, we are long odds to make play-offs

2024 Player Reviews: #5 Christian Petracca
Brilliant on field. great professional. He sustained a really bad injury so I hope he can return to his best for us. needs to find better counsel off field. His solo run to force a trade embarrassed himself and the club. It was never going to happen. I'll forgive him but i won't forget. That said, Kate and Pert have now left so his grievances have been somewhat vindicated.

The Drums are starting to beat for North
If the AFL wanted North gone they would have done it already. Not going to happen.

Campbell and Gall are very promising but no way would I look to move Tayla on. She is still a quality player. The only proviso i would have is how committed she is to AFLW. I don't like her boxing while contracted to us. I totally understand she has to make a living and good luck to her but not on our dime. I'm not sure she was fully focussed during preseason and can't but think her injury was a result of a lack of preparation and/or boxing related consequences.- AFLW: 2024 Fixture
We should have an easier fixture next year which will help us to bounce back.- AFLW: Rd 10 vs Pies
Bombers not losing this. early season injuries stuffed us Lots of positives though. Some very promising youngsters got plenty of game time. With a full compliment next year we’re well placed to challenge. go dees- AFLW: Rd 10 vs Pies

Delighted to hear of his positive impact around the club but not sure about the bolded. Our skills are not good.- Gary Pert Quits as MFC CEO
The market for AFL CEO’s, or any other CEO for that matter, is small. Digging heels in and going against the grain isn’t a wise strategy from a future employment prospects point of view. Pert read the room and made the smart decision. He’ll be back in a job soon enough.- NFL
- Gary Pert Quits as MFC CEO
Given all that went on over the last 12-18 months a clean break was the best course of action. Whether he was at fault for some most or all of the problems doesn’t matter. He was head of the organisation so has to take ultimate responsibility. He leaves with a flag each for the men and women on his cv. He had a very good run. He won’t be short of offers.- Gary Pert Quits as MFC CEO
Whether he was pushed or left of his own accord doesn't matter All i'm interested in is who our next CEO will be. I imagine Steven Smith will be heavily involved in the recruitment given he'll inherent him/her as president soon enough - AFLW Contracts and list details
