  1. The umpiring in AFLW is hopeless but at least we weren’t shafted by the umps like we have been in other games. Our defeat against freo a weeks ago was down to the hometown umpiring. We were robbed that game.
  2. Goldy was great again in her 50th. Always has a dip
  3. magnificent win its wasn't pretty but we fought like lionesses and deserved to win against a very blunt crows team
  4. the tackling is ferocious
  5. Gilliard is very immobile.
  6. chaplin doing very well on ponter
  7. certainly can't say these have been home town umps. giving us plenty
  8. very poor set shot from witherspoon from the free
  9. should have scored Lampard
  10. Dubious methodology. I hate them both but no way we are more valuable than the Eagles or the Hawks.
  11. 10 out of 10 for effort and application that half. you would think the Crows superior fitness and brute strength will see them home in the second. They have been very wayward though so you never know. Hanks Hore and Bannon been very good. Gall has done well also
  12. abbey holmes is clueless
  13. Great first quarter effort from the girls. hopefully they can keep this up

The pick he threw was bad but he was very good in the second half. the drive to win the game was close to perfect. Drove the length of the field and chewed up all the clock in the process. I think Dak is good enough. We need another dependable receiver along with Lamb. Dowdle was good yesterday carrying the ball. a lot of defensive injuries are a big problem but i think we have the team to make a play-off run if we can stay healthy enough. The weak link is the coach.
  15. Tim Lamb performed fine in that interview. Tough gig given the Trac and Clarry situations but he dealt with things as well as could be expected in the circumstances. and i reckon the Dan Houston situation is as much do with the fact we ended up with pick 5 rather than a later pick. Obviously Tim Lamb can't say that in an interview so he had to try to skirt around the question.
  16. Jay Clark is getting tiresome. He can get in the bin

you'd have liked todays game so. Lots of 3rd and short plays. There was one bone crunching hit on the 1 yard line by the steelers D. Defender took flight and stopped our attacker dead in his tracks and dislodged the ball. Luckily Dak managed to recover the loose ball but that was some hit. That hit almost won the game for the Steelers.

He's a very good QB but the greats are measured by post season success. Obviously hasn't been able to get it done in play-offs but that's as much due to the powder puff cowboys mentality as anything else.

great road win for Dallas defence down to the bare bones but held up really well against an admittedly blunt steelers offence. some costly turnovers in the red zone including one dreadful pick on the 3-yard line but when the chips were down Dak drove the length of the field to take the lead with 20 seconds left. its still a tough road ahead given how decimated our defence is but wins like this can only breed confidence and belief
  20. did he use the correct pronoun (he/him). If not then Pert needs to be burned at the stake
  21. It will definitely suit me. Means I can take the kids to more games
  22. While Clarry was delivering on his $1m contract we were happy to babysit him and put up with his behavioural issues. now that he’s produced a season and a half of injury and underperformance we’ve decided he’s not worth it. why oh why did we give him a monster contract. Massive list mgt fail.
  23. I have no problem with the club trying to offload him. He fell well short of a $1m player last year and he's falling below the standards again re Brownlow night and missed appts. We have stuffed up royalty in 2 areas: The media were always going to get wind of any attempts by the club to make contact with other clubs. I don't think it was possible to keep under wraps. But i don't see how we could have thought another club would be interested or give anything like fair value given his performance last year and known behavioural issues. Once you start making the calls your on the nose for any fallout. Given his problems throughout his career I think it was foreseeable that issues would arise again. Offering this contract looks like very poor list management. This is the big mistake the club have to wear now. Cornes is right. We have handled ourselves badly in all this. I just hope Clarry can return to something like his old self.
  24. Given we down to the bare bones that was an excellent effort from the girls. Great win
  25. Chaplin have been very good again. one of our best players so far this year.
