  1. Vossy looking very forlorn. his days are well and truly numbered still, if he's still interested in coaching, I'd like to give him responsibility for our midfield next year. did a good job with Port in that role.
  2. always enjoyable watching carlton get pumped
  3. Logan Morris has been some find for the Lions
  4. rubbish 50
  5. you could make a claim for 5-6 established players to be dropped. salem, Fritsch, sparrow, chin. even langdon
  6. if any team deserves to stuff up touching it for a behind on their own goal line its Carlton
  7. we're a very dysfunctional club at the moment temporary CEO and president Richardson, Goody, chooco, line coaches all unperforming senior players under performing Tim Lamb trading no good plenty of blame to go around outside of JT recruiting and some promising players, there's a lot of work to be done
  8. brilliant torp after the qtr time siren
  9. not really. following sports teams involves much more disappointment than enjoyment. its just the nature of it.
  10. hipwood is not a very good footballer
  11. bad start carlton. very flat atmosphere. reckon they are goin to get pumped
  12. If the club is serious, he should be the first to be shown the door.
  13. some good games to look forward to. suns pies looks the pick of the round.
  14. there doesn't appear to be any great desire for this. As a naturalised Victorian, i can't ever see myself cheering on the likes of Dangerfield and Daicos when they play for vic.
  15. Lever trac clarry and fritsch have trade value, albeit we will have to eat some of their salary to move them on May and viney are too old and have no trade value, so better to keep around to lead the youngsters Max is untradeable because he's a legend and busts a gut all the time. Plus we have no ruck back-up. He would also be great to mentor our next ruck (whoever that might be) I'm not fussed about what we do with lesser lights and depth players. we should do what we need to do to get some picks to replenish the list and get us ready for the next cycle of success
  16. not sure what you all expect goody to say in these press conferences and i don't know what you all expect to get from a press conference anyways. the AFL obligates the coach to speak to the media after the game. The aim should be to tell the media as little as possible. all they want to do is sensationalise so give them nothing don't tune in to press conferences if they bother you so much
  17. $4.30 odds on a team that pumped us by 10 goals earlier in the season makes no sense at all i'm not a betting man but i'm very tempted to lay a bet
  18. The top liners under consideration would be Clarry, Trac, Lever and Fritsch
  19. he has regressed this year. injury and lack of preseason a big factor though. It would be great if our players re-committed without fuss but that doesn't seem to the case for us If he's uncommitted the club might have to make a hard call. We've handed out contracts recently and fair to say we have not received value. I don't want to overpay or provide a long term contract to someone who has had a poor season.
  20. didn't think he was a crack the sads kind of person
  21. you'd have to seriously look at any offer that was received for rick lever. I think his ankles are stuffed so could be in the best interests of all concerned. i wouldn't like to lose Judd McVee at all. Classy player struggling to find form post injury. but i'm sure he'll come good with an injury free preseason
  22. all the nitwit commentators were saying it wasn't touched either accept jono brown anyways, mistakes happen. i still reckon we are better off having a goal review rather than not
  23. i'm far from convinced by jeffo but lets give him a block of games to see if he can figure out AFL. in terms of Kentfield, why not, nothing to lose at this stage. the season is done so blooding these types of players should be the priority
  24. i want to see game time for youngsters and lesser lights bill laurie deserves a run keep jeffo in the team for at least the next 3 games
  25. elite standards? he can't hit a barndoor and his tackling has been sub-par all season. he's supposed to be a leader but i don't see him driving elite standards at all.
