Agree with all this. The other thing i would add is that the aura of invincibility is slipping. teams will now have belief playing the Tiges whereas before they were defeated before the ball was bounced. Psychologically that makes a big difference.

I haven’t watched much of the Crows recently but looking at the stats from last weeks game against the Eagles they conceded 11 goals to the Eagles KPF triumvirate. Of those Darling (who takes second best defender, best goes to Kennedy) kicked 5. The Weid obviously isn’t in the same class as Darling yet but he will take 2nd best defender. I reckon the Weid to kick 4 and TMac 3. Reckon the margin of victory will be 30 points or thereabouts.

We’re not a flat track bully team. System, process, structure. I expect a similar outcome to last week. Adelaide will challenge us but we’ll keep them at arm’s length and win by a comfortable, regulation 5 goals. I’d like to see Trac have a big game. He’s not quite been at his best lately. Build his confidence before the big tests v the Dogs and Lions. The focus has all been on the Dogs but I think the game v the Lions in the Alice is the tougher of our upcoming 2 games. I don’t like the run the Lions are on so I wouldn’t mind seeing Lynch, the Nank et al softening them up tonight.

BB took his marks and slotted his 3 goals v Sydney in a very tight game. I wouldn’t trust the Weid to do that…yet. He really needs to take this chance. No more talk of potential. I think he has what it takes but he’s at an age now where he has to start delivering for us. If he doesn’t fire against Adelaide I reckon we go with the proven goal kicker in BB against the Dogs.

Richmond have been a champion team, hats off to them. But I don’t think too many neutrals will be sorry if they fall back into the pack. Other than Dusty, and Jack Riewoldt in small doses, they are a fairly unlikeable outfit. Compare their behaviour to how Maxy, Trac, Tmac, BB and Lever conduct themselves on the field. I much prefer the way we go about it.
