Saints going nowhere. they have Marshall, Steele and King to build on and not much else. Jones Crouch Hill are dud recruits.

    Brad hill. dear God

I'm close to switching this game off. It's dire

Brad Hill's delivery inside 50 today has been appalling. From memory he has wasted 3 kicks, under zero pressure. We got by far the better winger from freo

Tom Morris mentioned that dusty has played 260 of a possible 268 AFL games. Thats serious durability Hope he makes a full recovery. Kidney injuries can be very serious

19 cases is a big jump. All linked so far so hopefully they've all stayed in isolation per the rules. No chance this lockdown ends on tuesday. 2 week minimum i reckon.

Great day of footy coming up. We've an interest in all the games. saints are playing well so hopefully can get up against port. Suns are in great touch and are a chance to spring a surprise against the doggies. If they can get the job done i might even change my mind about disbanding them
  8. I have a soft spot for Frosty. I sure don;t miss the heart palpatations he gave me but he always had a dip. Sublime and ridiculous in equal measure

Hoping saints can do a number on Port. Would effectively end Port's top 4 hopes. I can't see us finishing lower than 3rd and most likely reckon we'll finish on top.
  10. Hawks were atrocious last week. Absolutely pantsed by Freo. Have a real end of season look about them, coaching hand-over a big distraction, injuries, etc. Noise around that they have turned their minds to draft picks. They are there for the taking. 4 points most important thing but for once this year I’d like to see us put a team to the sword. Percentage could be a factor in the final reckoning and we have not converted our dominance in games into bigger scores. Would love us to register a 50+ point win today. Let’s swarm these bastards from the get-go and pummel them into the ground Good luck Vanders. I love your heart and attack on the footy. Go Dees

Right result for us last night. Reckon us Cats and Doggies will finish top 3 now and avoid the inter-state qualifying final (although who knows where and even when we'll be playing finals). Riewoldt has had a stellar career. 300 games and 700+ goals speaks for itself. He deserved to play and celebrate his great achievement at the G last night He's also a sook and a crybaby and has played in one of the most dislikeable teams ever to grace the game (and as for his advice to Kozzie earlier in the season - he can stick it)
  12. This has been my most enjoyable year as a demons member. 2018 was enjoyable but very up and down (biggest downer being the debacle at optus). We've been reliable and consistent. We've never been reliable and consistent before. Let's hope we can top it off with a flag but even if we don't this year has been a huge step forward for the club

I wouldn't be making any conclusions about Geelong based on the game last night. Freo's performance reminded me of the bad old demons. And if Freo continue to deliver putrid performances like they did last night it won;t be long before Justin Longmuir comes under the spotlight. They were unwatchable last night.

Percentage could be the difference between a home or inter-state qualifying final. We have to put our foot on the Hawks throat tomorrow. I know its not our style, and we shouldn't take the Hawks lightly, but we need to show the same ruthlessness as Geelong and really put a team to the sword And seeing the cats on top of the ladder has ruined the start to my day

Freo were putrid. they deserve nothing but scorn after a pathetic performance like that (which has cost us top spot). Not sure why we should be "respecting their failure" just cause we're been rubbish ourselves in the not too distant past
  16. BDA replied to Diamond_Jim's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
well that was an anticlimax. I actually thought Freo were a chance in this game. They've been rubbish
  17. BDA replied to Diamond_Jim's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
How are Freo in the eight? Jeez there are some very average teams in this league
  18. BDA replied to Diamond_Jim's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
    Freo skills are very ordinary

The umps should put the whistles away

I hope Freo pump the cats

Suspect there’ll be some pet cats and dogs signed up to ensure we beat the record

A week is a long time in Covid world but i hope our Darwin game gets switched back to Metricon. Financial inducement or no we should never have agreed to go up there. The less the team have to travel the better as far as i'm concerned
