  1. Never paid much attention to him previously, but between him acting like a tool and the pies fans singing that nauseating “USA USA” chant I’ve developed a strong dislike for the bloke.
  2. bailey fritsch last year. initially rubbed out for a game (I think) but got off on appeal
  3. Don't do that. Burn down Ikon Park instead
  4. If the AFL want him to get off just appoint lethal Leigh, Luke Hodge and Jonno Brown to the tribunal
  5. Hang on. I thought the AFL wanted Carlton to play finals so would find a way to exonerate Cripps?
  6. Neither Howe or Ed are the brightest. Best let your footy do the talking lads
  7. Could make the same joke about us unfortunately
  8. Carlton getting murdered at the centre bounce. Another reason to be optimistic next week
  9. Or when we finally managed to break our 57 year drought It can be done for sure, but easier to do without any psychological baggage i reckon
  10. Jonno Brown reckons its a football incident. If these old schoolers were in charge at the MRO no player would ever get suspended
  11. Brisbane are even worse than we are for butchering goal scoring opportunities.
  12. Nearly took his head off. The Lions player was in the air so couldn't brace for impact. Should get multiple games
  13. Carlton's form is rotten Brisbane's goal kicking is pathetic Reasons to be optimistic before we play them both
  14. This is a fair point What i was trying to say (and perhaps not very well) is the grand final winning experience could be the difference. There are many factors that which will determine success or failure (they are being discussed ad nauseum on numerous other threads at the moment) But if it comes down to 1%ers our winning experience could be the difference. It won’t matter if we don’t play well like you say but in an even matched contest, knowing that we’ve done it before matters Geelongs’s finals experience over the past decade has been of ultimate failure despite high hopes and expectations. I wouldn’t like to be carrying that baggage. The Doggies have experience like you say but came up short because all the travelling during last years finals series caught up with them. When the deluge came midway through the 3rd quarter in the granny they were spent and hit the wall. Enjoy the rest of your day
  15. If you are genuinely arguing that experience doesn't count I won't bother wasting my time lol yourself mate
  16. A giant myth! In every walk of life, every endeavour, experience counts. To say otherwise is absurd. Of course we had little finals experience but then neither did the other contenders. I'm sure glad it wasn't Richmond we were playing in the granny last year to break our drought. Dusty would have produced another Norm Smith from muscle memory alone
  17. One big advantage we have is we are the only team with grand final winning experience to draw on when the whips are cracking in September. Geelong have a massive monkey on their back, the collywobbles are a fact and the rest of the contenders have little to no finals experience. Richmond have plenty but they don’t have the cattle anymore and will just make up the numbers.
  18. You love all mankind I suppose
  19. His rucking was hopeless on Friday night. Kept mis-timing his leap
  20. We coughed up an important game to a hated rival. My weekend has been ruined. I hope that loss stung the boys because it really stung me. There are a number of factors but I think our attitude is not quite right. We need to rediscover and bring the manic intent that won us the flag last year. If we do that I don't think anyone can stop us. And I'll also say Max is a super captain, I love him, but I think we need more of Jack Viney's bloody minded leadership style right now. Get your mind on the job Dees and get it done. No more stuff-ups Go Dees
  21. Started watching the game but to hell with it. No interest in watching this procession I'm totally over this weekend of footy
  22. BDA replied to Harves's topic in Melbourne Demons
Have a soft spot for Jesse. He has some unfinished business with us but he's getting quite injury prone. worth a second rounder maybe. Could be a stop gap while JVR develops can't see it happening mind
  23. We need to win our last 2 H&A games to get Top 4 and then 3 finals. That's 5 consecutive wins against top 8 competition. It's getting harder to make the case.
  24. It does my head in
