  1. the mute button is your friend.
  2. I really like it! not
  3. I reckon he stays. Hope I'm right.
  4. no structural damage which is positive so hopefully he'll be back involved before too long.
  5. I agree. Thats why i would worry about her and Tyla Hanks (although Tyla seemed happy at the family day on sat)
  6. Yep. If he signs, he signs and if he doesn't, he doesn't. Let's ensure we get the best from him this season and let the cards fall where they may.
  7. Ah. I thought the rule was 3 years. Thanks for clarifying.
  8. Looks like the Lions could be the big losers which would be great for us. I hope I'm not wrong but i just don't think we'll lose a tier 1 player. After seeing the team at family day they look so content. Tayla was out amongst the crowd chatting to people, Kate Hore happily signing autographs, Libby Birch up on stage MC'ing, Lily mithen laughing and joking. The one person who wasn't there that I would have liked to see was Alyssa Bannon, but I don't think she meets the criteria to be poached.
  9. And out of interest has Cornes outlined how port will get this deal done given they have no picks.
  10. And hunter and Grundy will play in a premiership this year.
  11. Massive losses for lions and crows. We’ve seen the difference Tayla Harris made to us. Spearheads are so hard to find. any intel regarding our players. Anyone had their head turned yet?
  12. based on what i saw on friday night, no matter how impotent the dockers forwards are, they'll still have enough to beat st kilda.
  13. he's right about their forward set-up. Lobb gone, Fyfe always injured and Taberner battling. Jackson a good option in the ruck but no way can carry the goal kicking burden. They will struggle to kick scores to win matches this season. No finals this year i reckon (and hope)
  14. I belly laughed. Cheers QD
  15. Thanks for the info. I wasn't aware. Will definitely partake in this promo.
  16. Outstanding effort yesterday as usual. Not many people put their hands up to contribute to community/social based organisations anymore unfortunately. We’re lucky that there are enough people like you and the rest of the Demon Army who are selfless and civic minded and give back. We’re very grateful. Thank you @WalkingCivilWar
  17. We have gawndy now. I don’t care what Jackson does.
  18. I preferred the old Geelong, the perennial finalists who crashed and burned in September. They were fun to watch. A September highlight each year for me.
  19. Young women today have adopted quite "laddish" behaviours and attitudes. Some will say its female liberation and they can do as they please which is right of course. Personally, I think a little more decorum wouldn't go astray but then maybe I'm just an old fogie.
  20. Not even Crown can sportswash their brand. Tarnished beyond repair. Zero chance we take their filthy lucre.
  21. Great way to spend sat morning with the kids. Stocked up on merch (polo shirt, guernsey for my daughter, baseball caps, beer stubby holders etc.), saw Benny (quality human being) get the hair shorn and heard from Daisy and Goody My boy reckoned the best part of the day was the free ice cream! I made him promise to come to at least 3 games with me this year. Unprompted he said he would definitely come to the grand final with me. I'm taking that as a good omen. Daisy spoke very eloquently as usual. Other highlight was Goody saying the team had unfinished business and wanted to win it at the G for us. You could tell he meant it rather than playing to the gallery. And he said Gawn and Grundy are known as the Tap Brothers! Libby Birch reckoned there was 3,000 people there. I reckon that was about right. Well done MFC. Very enjoyable day. The queues were too long but I don't think that could be helped. Just means the team are popular. Go Dees
  22. When he got on stage there was no noticeable limp or discomfort.
  23. Benny brown just lost the locks. Looks meaner.
