do you have the numbers which sit behind this comment? there was a lot of bullcrap spouted on DL after the QF last year about how we were outnumbered by the Swans supporters and they were loudly than us. It certainly didn't look like or sound like that from where I on was sitting on the wing.

Shouldn’t we all be happy they’ve gone abut their rebuild like this? Much more likely to fail. their list management has been bad for awhile. They tried the top up strategy but it failed miserably. Brought in players like Scully and Patton that didn’t work. The only hope they have is to get top end talent into the club.

I didn’t think they were top 4. I was quietly confident they would miss the 8. They were slow and ponderous towards the back end of last season. Teams had moved on and found them out (same way as we had been found out). Their forward line is a mess as well. Big problems for longmuir to sort out.

The siren sounded just after the game clock hit 0.00 and the ball crossed the line. if this happened in a granny it would be a travesty. What is the correct ruling here. I think the AFL have backed the umps in but not sure it’s the correct call.

Tell that to the Freo ferals. I agree regarding his potential, but he's getting paid the big bucks to deliver now, not in a couple of years. He doesn't have time to develop. The Freo crowd will be on his back. It's a tough spot for a young developing ruck to be in. If he stayed with us he could have developed in his own time.

Freo is a graveyard for returning home grown players. I've no idea why but it turns to s**t pretty quickly. Jackson should have stayed with us to develop out of the spotlight. Mature in his own time. He's exposed to the full glare of the feral Freo crowd now who will eat him alive. And Sean Darcy is a much better ruck (needs to lose a few kgs it must be said). He's now having to split ruck time with Jackson. What must he be thinking?

Melks is great to bring on in the second half when he's fresh and the opposition are starting to tire. He doesn't have the legs for a full game anymore as we saw on Friday night. He very classy though. Took his goal against the doggies from outside the 50 brilliantly. I don't think we have anyone else on our list that would have nailed that kick.
