  1. Nothing they can do about it. Players aren't contracted. The women's seasons don't overlap so they can head home to play inter county after the AFLW season is finished. Every so often a promising young male player heads down here which causes some resentment but it's rare. Very few people begrudge these players the opportunity to play professionally. And most end up returning home anyways and have the professional training which is a big advantage. Tadgh Keneally was noticeably fitter and stronger when he went back to win the All-Ireland with Kerry. Likewise, Coor McKenna. He was a big reason Tyrone won the Ireland in '21. So there are also benefits for GAA teams when the Ozzies return.
  2. Surprised TMAc was dropped given Gawn isn't playing but he can have no complaints. I like the unpredictability. Keep the Swans on their toes.
  3. Reckon Iโ€™d prefer tiges win this one. Pies building up too much momentum

Another reason to dislike McClure. Fake News
  5. What Iโ€™m most looking forward to this weekend in order of preference (aside from our game of course) 1. JVR debut 2. The Western Derby #deathride (would be no.1 any other weekend) 3. Geelong going 0-3 (more of a wish this one. Come on Suns)
  6. Yikes. Hideous deal. Thatโ€™s a sackable offence for a list manager
  7. The move to the doggies seems to be working out for Oscar Baker. Playing with more confidence than he ever did at the Dees. Good luck to him.

  21. Good luck young man. The first of many games in the red and blue I hope.
  22. Iโ€™m sure Geelong are into him. Plenty of clubs would be but I reckon heโ€™ll try to get to st Kilda to play with his brother.
  23. Not much to see here. He was caught driving on a suspended license (i don't know why it was suspended). No mention of drink being involved.
  24. He seems to have mastered the half mark. he takes 3 half marks per game
