They're all here on Demonland to check. Jennings news was on here well before reported. I posted it in this thread on 3rd July, was reported in the media 12 August. I started the Jackson thread by mentioning we had spoken to him, that hadn't been reported. Please remove that other info mate, those people wouldn't want that put here. DM me if you like.

You're welcome to point out all the times I've "thrown [censored]" and it hasn't stuck. I always put my hand up when I get one wrong. Here's a running list for you: Jennings gone - Correct McCartney gone - Correct Dees chasing Yze - Correct Looking at drafting Jackson - Correct Weideman injury - Correct Max Gawn lat injury - Correct Jake Lever injury - Correct Bennell leaving Freo - Correct TMac injury - Correct Dees not chasing Hill, rate the top end of draft higher - Correct Dees looking to split 2019 picks - Correct Bennell selection for Freo - Incorrect Rooke gone - Incorrect (Rawlings leaving possibly changed it) Pendlebury late out - Incorrect (Different source, no good) Roos taking a role at Blues - Incorrect. (Though did come out and say he was open to it) Mahoney likely gone end of year - We’ll see Goodwin gone if doesn’t win 9 games - We’ll see Harmes unhappy and likely to request trade - We’ll see TMac ankle injury - We’ll see Gotta be a pretty lucky "[censored] thrower" to get that many random guesses correct hey? If you don't want to read what I post, just block me, that's what I'll be doing now to save myself wasting time with your personal trash.

Yes, correct. Mate of mine, who's a big Dees fan, has a close knit business group with a bunch of former Demons. They have a busy group chat where they talk about MFC. One of the former players is till involved with the club a bit and passed on some things Burgess told him including the Bennell management and that Burgo is a big fan of Petty. TBH don't care anymore if posters who seem to have willy measuring contests here believe me or not. Same person passed on Friday morning that Brayshaw and Harmes were injured, which I posted here and came out correct. Didn't see you reply to that post though strangely enough.
-
Yep, that was me. Came (indirectly) via Burgo a few weeks back. Either they're not happy with his form, his fitness progression or just got it wrong.

This is an article containing a synopsis for anyone wanting to read what was said. The phone call to an AFL legend that could save the AFL’s ‘most untrustworthy team in the comp’ -
Have tried to DM you multiple times and have commented to let you know about that too. That's the best way to clear the air IMO. Clearly now this has crossed a line that is not ok. I'll say again, I'm open to messaging to call a truce. I don't want the drama, and I certainly do not want this crossing over into my personal life again like it now has.
-
It's clearly you given your comment, the fake email you used and the timing. It's honestly a bit scary when people cross the line like this and I hope you realize how serious this could be. I am still open to chatting on DM to clear the air as I have previously mentioned, but you have ignored.
-
Just putting it here on record that you're accusing me of being a stalker while sending me threats through my work email. Have previously tried to DM you to call a truce but you ignored it and continued with the personal attacks, which have clearly now crossed a line. In your words, I'm "calling you out" on this behaviour as it's appalling.

Harmes will be out a few weeks with a hammy.

Along with Jones, Gus and Harmes also chances to miss on Monday with injury/soreness.

Swans in Cairns for 2 days vs Demons less than 5 hours - why?

Balme is looking to wind down rather than start again apparently (mate of a mate kinda thing). Reckon it'd be hard to poach away from the Pies in the current financial climate.

A few potentially left field ideas (tbf, it's not the type of role I know about candidates available)... - Brad Scott - Alistair Clarkson - Alan Richardson

AFL: Melbourne coach Simon Goodwin faces the media after his side's disappointing loss to the Swans.

Pathetic post-match presser from Goody. All the usual stuff in the same monotone voice. 'We're working hard' 'Better connection' 'We'll learn' 'There were some positives'... I get that what is said to the players is probably different, but does he even realize that this is his one chance to communicate to the people who make this club exist? It's becoming more and more apparent he knows the problems but has no actual answers.
-
Reckon you could see it in his body language tonight that he knew it was time. Hopefully supporters can treat him with a bit of grace and respect as he (probably) bows out. If there's one player we can all agree on as 'bleeding red and blue' it's Jones.
-
Had multiple defenders around him and blocking him, not to mention the disgraceful delivery. Could have been better for sure, but there's also a fair bit of blame for the mids and the coaches in not playing their parts.
-
Gawn legitimately talked about 'positives' and 'things they'll learn' in his post-match. ?♂️

IN: Bennell, Hibberd, Bedford, Pickett, Hannan OUT: Jones (inj), OMac, Smith, Melksham, Wagner

Everyone has to cop it for that. Players refused to dig deep and do the hard things. You could see from the very start they were hesitant in going into contests, refused to tackle, refused to run without the ball. A current assistant coach at another club messaged one of my mates "these players just have no ticker". Goodwin had no answers yet again. It's hard to see improvements he's made in his time as senior coach. Most of the 'improvement' has come from a better list. So many of the same problems with no answers year after year. It's also hard to see how we motivates the players. The corporate speak and monotony doesn't seem to be working. Stafford. Firstly, goal kicking is very very poor. Clearly not working. Secondly, our ruck work seems to have gone backwards to the point where it's rare that our rucks hit it anywhere near one of our own players. Richardson. What has he brought exactly? Neither here nor there with him tbh, but I've seen nothing different from a coaching perspective. Don't want to go too overboard after one game, but this is too much of a recurring theme now, these things happen far too often. Staggered if people keep believing that 'Goody has the players' after seeing this kind of thing over and over.

Being managed throughout the season according to Burgess' plan for him. Good chance to be picked for the Freo game.

Sparrow isn't going anywhere.
-
Left field idea: Play Smith forward and Brown in the ruck (or even vice versa) so that Max can play less game time. Thoughts?
-
I like Tomlinson back too, just thought you were being a bit harsh on OMac by saying Lever was "scoffing" at it when I think it was meant more as Lever saying he decides his own performance and doesn't want to rely on others.
