  1. Good news an offer is formally on the table. I trust goodwindees, I believe he's mentioned before he's mates with a certain player.
  2. I would have scoffed at this a few days ago, but now, not so much...
  3. No, I just don't get why I'm being tagged and commented on in a thread I had nothing to do with. You may want to go back and see which 'Lord' you were supposed to tag "nimwit".
  4. Not really as it's only a bit of gossip atm! haha
  5. WTF are you even on about? Lost the plot mate.
  6. We might all be in for a bit of a surprise this week I reckon...
  7. I haven't even commented in this thread (until now of course).
  8. He's also very quick to get back up and put another effort in right at the end of the clip too.
  9. You're kidding right? This is the apparent 'incident' below. He's not close enough to contest the mark and then tackles the Richmond player who collects it.
  10. You may be right about the 'overplayed' bit. I think a lot of us fans recognize some of his contributions as things we have been wanting from players for a long time - Pressure, running both ways, tackling, shepherding, quality delivery inside 50 - so maybe his game overall gets 'overplayed' by some due to that. I don't think anyone is saying he's a gun or in rare form or anything though are they? I would disagree though that given Goody's comments on him, our game style and our improved forward structure and efficiency (all of which Spargo really seems to have bought in to), that Charlie is in line (with others) to potentially be dropped this week. And I disagree that for his role there would be any kind of numerical KPI around possessions.
  11. He's our 7th highest winning coach percentage wise of all time. The 3rd highest since Norm Smith, after Daniher and Northey. Edit - Actually, he potentially has overtaken Daniher as the numbers I saw are a few weeks old. Quite likely Goody (who I think is now 50.57%) has moved into second behind Northey (54.19%).
  12. This was in the 3rd quarter, I don't know if this is the 'incident' being referred to, but if so, not only is it not a squib but the other players to pull out of the contest are Viney and Kozzy...
  13. If we're talking about that one on the defensive 50 near the boundary it wasn't a 'squibbed' contest at all, and pretty sure Brayshaw and possibly Viney were there too, so if we're labeling ANB a squib for not going up in the contest then....
  14. Can you please point out exactly when in the game this happened and show how 'deflated' the team was after this apparent incident. Always good to provide some kind of evidence when trying to assassinate someone's character. I mean, Goody specifically mentioned ANB's leadership last week so obviously ANB's attitude has done a full 180 in a week and it had a negative impact on performance against the reigning premiers on the weekend...
  15. Ummmm.... You know that was a prank by The Betoota to prove how ridiculous the conservative media are right?
  16. Wait, are you guys implying The Herald Sun aren't the peak of mature and responsible journalism? Well I never.
  17. Fair enough, take your point there mate. I just reckon Spargo was one of the players who was important early at setting the scene with his pressure when things weren't going our way. Not saying he was great, obviously more involvement would be good, just don't reckon he'd be in danger of being dropped if he's doing those things. Personally I probably give him a bit more credit in the bank as I think he's our best user going inside 50.
  18. Spargo got a mention from Goody in the post-match, I reckon they're happy with what he's doing atm. Seems to be playing the kind of role that isn't reflected well in stats and numbers.
  19. For mine, if we play in Tassie it's: IN: Brown OUT: Melksham If we play at Marvel, keep the smaller lineup, no change.
  20. There's no lockdown in Victoria.
  21. From what I understand they would have to isolate in Victoria for 14 days also. (This is under the 'traffic light' system and could change) The situation seems to be they're more likely to get a special exemption from that for Victoria than they are from Tasmania.
  22. Quality of ball use out of the clearances and inside 50 will determine the game IMO.
  23. Fortunately there will likely be that many.
