Ok my early predictions, from the little I have seen of them, JVR , will play round 1 , future 250 game 500+ goal afl player , should of played games last year. Howes, has skills , needs work in the gym, not sure wing is his right position , looks more a med forward to me , would like to see him lift his aggression , work rate and competitiveness, if he does he looks to have a very high ceiling . Turner, like him , looks a good prospect to me, seems to have all the right tools to make it Chandler, I would of given him games in front of Bedford , Spargo and ANB at different stages throughout the year , I think he has more goal sense and is better overhead than all 3 of them , loved his tackle btw. Woey, hopefully his good vfl grand final game gives him belief . Laurie, he is the one that worries me the most, his pace, height, overhead marking and tackling are of concern to me, he also does not look to be in condition still. He needs to have a big pre season and get stronger, leaner, meaner, keener.

Jordon, Laurie, tomlinson , Melksham, Dunstan are all too slow and lack defensive pressure and tackling

I wouldn't think there will be many list spots open for next year, we still have to open up 3 just for the draft so apart from Grundy 🤷‍♂️ , I wouldn't count on any more players being traded in

If you combined the last 3 years drafts together imo Luke Jackson goes number 1 so surely he is worth at the very least pick 1 or equal value to pick 1

Imo it is time for Bailey Laurie and Jacob van Rooyen to debut for the club. Both were fantastic v Geelong in the VFL on Friday night and they both should (imo) play against Port Adelaide next week.

In JVR Laurie Chandler Out Bedford, spargo, oliver We need more goals 19 goals between them in the last 3 vfl games for casey and JVR missed one of those games. A double debut for 2 of our first round selections from last two years is what I would like to see

The reason I say we have to many small forwards is because of the lack of medium forwards we have I understand they all have different skills and roles but they are all small and will mostly play forward if in the team, none of them can cover Fritta if he goes down, how many genuine medium forwards do we have on the list 2 , one who happens to be our best forward in Fritta, and the other being Melksham who will be retired by the end of the year . We actually have 3, tracc but he just happens to be a dominant midfielder aswell We need another natural medium forward who kicks goals imo Howes ? Wing or HF The club certainly has had some gems over the years, fritta, jarrah, robbo, green, jacko Thoughts ?
