I agree He ( Walker) is in the Tmac mould/style that competes and brings the ball to ground or marks it. We need the ball retained in the forward zone for the smalls to feed off. That's why Weid is not a success as he is pushed about and doesn't assist other forwards, and goes missing more often than not. Send him to the backline at Casey next week and before the end of the year he may be good enough in defence and Petty can do some cameos up forward.

Tigers did not win a flag last year that's the point about criticism of the Dees crowds. Very little footy in 2021 including Finals and Flag and we won the Flag and our crowds are down or poor. Don't worry about other Clubs just worry about Dees.!!

You conveniently forget we have (1)JUST WON a 57 year drought braking premiership (2) had a 10-0 winning opening run including near record 17 winning streak!! (3) we have about 10,000 more members and no real increase to show. (4) Some of the excuses are seriously pathetic about non attendance . (5) Hawthorn is no measuring Stick and it rained last Sunday! (6) we are about same as Essendon who have most games at Marvel a lower drawing ground usually and who are having nearly worst year yet! (7) I always are amused when this post is critical of our crowds you get individual posters immediately trying to defend themselves in various comical and often labouring ways. They are feeling so guilty IMO and have forgotten about how they didn't have a choice for nearly 2 years to go!!! So how much does it mean to them really ?? (8)Is life meant to be a self imposed lockdown because it's not the weekend? (9) The players as Trac said need supporters to create atmosphere and as a reward for excellence in performance deserve our support. Jordan is developing nicely and it's not an issue with him his form at all. He defends as well as attack and his disposal is generally high standard as is his courage and attack on the ball. All I know is Tmac has hit form with 3 and 4 goals in the last 2 games and Sam kicked 6 as did JVR in the romp vs the crisis ridden Kangaroos "2's" whose best was Dom Tyson and Marty Hore. Both were honest players for our Club and injury did them no favours but seriously should they be near or on our list with players like Bowser and potential in Rosman and Laurie learning their craft at Casey? PS I bet I get a bite from at least ONE D/ler how unlucky Marty was and still should be on our list! Same as if Dean Kent lovers linger in the past He can't even get a game in the upgraded Saints team now! Don't we realise that is why we ( and Saints) are potential premiership teams because the replacements are much better footballers than Tyson Hore and Kent. You can throw in about 100/ 150 footballers of similar standard over our 57 years of pain in a similar bracket. Clint Bartrum was a classic example for instance.
