NON-MFC: Round 2, 2022
Hi SD. I only wrote it as a play on WC and toilet. I agree with you that they're not totally out of the finals picture but losing two of their most winnable games first up will make it very difficult.

Sunday graveyard slot and a 2/3 empty MCG. Looks like the Tiger Army are in full retreat.

CASEY: Rd 01 vs Sandringham
Weeds is now a shadow of the shadow of a player he used to be.

WC's season looks to be well and truly down the toilet.

POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs Gold Coast
Hi BAMF. If it was then the other 50% were probably curious locals that got free tickets with the happy meals they bought during the week. On more than one occasion the commentators mentioned decisions that weren't popular with the home crowd to the sound of four people booing in the background.

POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs Gold Coast
For their first home game of the year against the reigning premiers after a big road win it was another pitiful crowd at Metricon. No wonder they never include the attendance figure in any match reports up there.

POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs Gold Coast
Did what we needed to when we had to. GC will beat plenty of sides that aren't as good as us this year.

Brisbane not fantastic but with enough nous to keep Essendon at arms reach so far.- NON-MFC: Round 2, 2022
Commentators salivating over the suspect package already.- NON-MFC: Round 2, 2022
Looks like Collingwood have thrown down the challenge to Carlton to be March premiers. The juggernauts that they are.- What they are saying at Carrara
It has taken 40 years to get a core of around 25k to turn up every second week at the SCG to watch Sydney play. An implant team sprinkled with marquee signings funded in part by the COLA allowance to help keep the turnstiles rotating. I don't know whether the talk of grassroots development is true or just AFL hype but from afar GCS look to be no more than a plastic franchise representing an apathetic market in a cultural wasteland.- GAMEDAY: Rd 02 vs Gold Coast Suns
Recent history suggests that the Suns are always up and about early in the season. A potential banana skin if we're not switched on throughout I think. Looking forward to see how our new look backline perform for a second week.- NON-MFC: Round 2, 2022
Is there a curfew time for sporting events to be finished by at the SCG?- NON-MFC: Round 2, 2022
The entire Sydney side will be out with covid next week.- NON-MFC: Round 2, 2022
Geelong are so good to watch. Said nobody ever.- NON-MFC: Round 2, 2022
Buddy is 4 goals away from 1,000. Who'd have known?- NON-MFC: Round 2, 2022
Outwith a couple of key season ending injuries this game has had everything so far.- NON-MFC: Round 1, 2022
Top four Saturday night blockbuster against the Suns coming up. Might just shade the Richmond v Giants grand final preview.- NON-MFC: Round 1, 2022
It's an absolute travesty there aren't 60,000 WC fans inside Optus to witness this.- NON-MFC: Round 1, 2022
Hey Cards. Yeah, they are the Melbourne side that play in some tri-nation rugby union comp aren't they? I think they share AAMI Park with Victory and Storm. I don't know what if any traction they get down here. I'm not sure that Levi Casboult would even make the covid top up list for any other club but without Ben King for the year beggars can't be choosers.- NON-MFC: Round 1, 2022
Hi Rod. They were 4 goals down when I posted so there may have been a lag. I think WC had double their score at the time.- NON-MFC: Round 1, 2022
Just got home and switched on the box to find GC are getting pantsed by WC reserves. As a sporting non entity they'd be up there with the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL.- NON-MFC: Round 1, 2022
I thought they'd stopped playing games at that stadium? Something about the poor surface causing injuries I think.- NON-MFC: Round 1, 2022
Jesus I wish they'd stop going on about Buddy Franklin. - NON-MFC: Round 2, 2022
