  1. Can't edit my original post, but first link to running defender Jakob Ryan in the article: Melbourne already have pick 13, on top of No.37 in the second round, and are showing interest in defender Jakob Ryan and forwards Matt Jefferson and Brayden George. The Demons picked emerging forward Jacob van Rooyen with selection 19 in last year’s draft.
  2. Perhaps we think the big Jeffer may be available at 19? Cal Twomey's recent rankings suggested the possibility. Where does he go? Melbourne has been linked to Jefferson at pick No.13. Sydney and the Giants could consider him given they have multiple picks but he could also be available deeper into the top 20. Where does he go? Has interest in the teens, including from Sydney, Melbourne and Greater Western Sydney. Hard to see George slipping far into the second round despite the knee.
  3. Melbourne are contemplating trading a future first round pick on draft night as they battle with a number of clubs to get hold of the Giants' valuable No. 19 selection, which will launch the second night of the AFL national draft.
  4. Highly esoteric pick in the Riv, but highly astute... Had a super first half of 2021, looked a million bucks Regressed badly this year though, do have to wonder how much impact his pre-season knee injury must've had
  5. A lesser version of Brown is a curious take
  6. Ironically perhaps JVR would have if we played him!
  7. Given we have two second rounders next year I would have thought trying to use one of those to upgrade 37 to a pick in the 20s this year would be appealing
  8. Interesting to note Hewett's 'behavioural concerns' mentioned
  9. Cal Twomey’s November Rankings:- Cal Twomey's Phantom Form Guide: Top draft prospects' November ranking The players he claims Melbourne may have interest in are: • Jefferson • Allan • George • Barnett • Gruzewski And on Jefferson's draft range: Where does he go? Melbourne has been linked to Jefferson at pick No.13. Sydney and the Giants could consider him given they have multiple picks but he could also be available deeper into the top 20.
  10. They're absolutely buggered if it rains by the looks of this, plan A out the window
  11. Have these kids played in the last month?
  12. Oh my God well have to wait an extra day for draft night to arrive if we don't have a 1st rounder!
  13. From Dogga to Dog, A now Cockburn based f l0g Fin.
  14. Geelong Cats emerge as potential suitor for Claremont bolter Ed Allan, son of ex-Docker Ben https://thewest.com.au/sport/afl-draft/afl-draft-2022-geelong-cats-emerge-as-potential-suitor-for-claremont-bolter-ed-allan-son-of-ex-docker-ben-c-8886191
  15. Highly touted key position forward Matthew Jefferson has filled out considerably, adding six kilograms to his lean frame since the beginning of the year. The likely first-round prospect was a stringbean at the beginning of the season, weighing just 78kg at 195cm, and he has more size to add as a stay at home forward. https://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/draft/afl-draft-2022-all-the-latest-news-and-intel/news-story/3cd766105991c7844e299e858380e696?amp&nk=faf281b3ad27f0494cc8ee315cd33f2d-1668648065
  16. I did feel the 183cm height measurement was generous
  17. Hollands runs around like a headless chook! https://www.afl.com.au/video/864799/class-of-2022-endurance-beast-with-footy-running-through-his-veins?videoId=864799&modal=true&type=video&publishFrom=1668366000001
  18. No plodders and no rucks at pick 13 please Lord 🙏
  19. Russell Westbrook would be a real Jason Taylor pick you feel
  20. He'll PM you that info
  21. The man just oozes testosterone and confidence. I suspect he'll keep the man bun and win the Brownlow by roughly 20 votes.
  22. Doesn't fit the powerful midfielder mould we seem to like, nor is he quick
