  1. T. Mac*, Jones, Nev and Hibbo out would free up a fair bit of coin.
  2. Matthew Lloyd had a really good comparison on Footy Classified and gave Jackson a bit of a pump up - compared him to the King brother's, in that he gets to a ton of contests & gets hand to ball attempting to mark, but not quite mature enough to the point they all stick, and that it's only a matter of time til he explodes.
  3. FB: Hibberd, May, Tomlinson HB: Salem, Lever, Hunt C: Langdon, Viney, Brayshaw R: Gawn, Oliver, Petracca HF: Pickett, Weid, Spargo F: Fristch, B. Brown, ANB I/C: Jackson, Rivers, Sparrow, Melksham I think in a perfect world Bowey & Laurie would be putting pressure on for spots ahead of guys like Sparrow & Melksham, but maybe unlikely as they didn't get to play last year.
  4. 50% TOG. He'll be rested this week you'd think.
  5. 6. Gawn 5. Petracca 4. Oliver 3. Lever 2. Fristch 1. Hunt
  6. Love him, want him to start hitting the scoreboard more to take the next step
  7. Think we may go small next week - Out: May, Jordon In: Hibberd, Sparrow (as a starter) Doubt Melk gets dropped but understand the calls for him to go Sparrow only played 17% less game time than Jordon, somehow.
  8. Spargo was great. A 200IQ footballer.
  9. Spargo another great game. Hunt even better than last week (safer with ball in hand today).
  10. Wouldn't be, he's their best 2nd tier mid if that makes sense
  11. Wonder if bottoming out was in their their player acquisition strategy. It must have been ! They know what they’re doing !
  12. The 'no changes to a winning side' mantra is so strange. If you can make the side better, you do.

Sample space is small for Young but he doesn't meet the eye test for mine. Looks scared.

Early days yet and rough to judge a player after only half a dozen games, but Hayden Young looks lost out there
  15. 6. Langdon 5. Brayshaw 4. Pickett 3. Gawn 2. Hunt 1. Rivers
  16. Yep. He's too strong & too good overhead for small defenders, a just quick enough for tall defenders not to be able to take him, a genuine game breaking player.
  17. Gus was great
  18. OUT: Jetta, Jones IN: Hibberd & Anyone with a pulse
  19. You over estimate Collingwood. You don't lose Stepho, Treloar & Phillips for effectively nothing unless you bring in a big fish that same year.
  20. Hogan was actively playing for Freo! Today he plays for no one, check mate
  21. Melbourne always play better when Hogan doesn't play. Dee's by 60 odd, T Mac to kick 4, with Jackson the surprise package kicking 3 of his own.
  22. Yep, Hunt to HF, Bowey to wing, Hibbo to HB
  23. Exact same here, I wanted us to take him at #3, no idea how he really went last year though to be honest. Surprised he isn't getting a game for what is still a pretty young Sydney side though, probably not a great sign.
