  1. Jason Taylor such a shrewd decision maker. Picking 3 WA boys to ensure Jacko has some training partners prior to heading back to Melbourne 😎
  2. The mans doing the rounds
  3. Nice of you to donate your time
  4. Bowey paying $12, gamble responsibly & put the house on it
  5. Yep and unfortunately those types are typically pretty indecisive people
  6. Jacko indecisive on whether he wants the sea world or Melb zoo pass as an extra
  7. Was already contracted for 2022
  8. Interesting to note Ben Simmons' draft profile in 2016: 1. Simmons' lack of competitiveness in some crucial games has raised questions about his character as a basketball player. - Source: http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Ben-Simmons-61928/ ©DraftExpress
  9. Salem will play til he's 38. Skills persist.
  10. Rivers has a Melb based girlfriend so came back early
  11. Mid 20s for midfielders Late 20s for talls
  12. Apparently Brisbane had Wilmot as their 11th rated player for this draft, and given his age (a couple of days off being in next years draft), they projected he could have been a possible top 5 pick in 2023
  13. Melbourne held its pick 19 and drafted Jacob van Rooyen, with Howes, as well as ruckman Toby Conway, also a contender for that spot. That the Dees got Howes the next night at pick 39 was a bonus for the premiers. https://www.afl.com.au/news/689980/inside-the-draft-the-tension-tactics-and-trades-that-didn-t-come-off
  14. Darcy will get a few games but be a non-factor like JUH this year I'm not overly sure Bruce will play next year if JUH looks any good in year 2, considering he did his knee in round 20 odd Port have a fair bit of natural improvement in them, got a very good group of young players
  15. How come teams let us grab Fritsch at pick 31, or Rivers at pick 32? Everyone sees it differently, with picks a scarce resource Draft was supposed to be even between picks 15-40 odd
  16. Rival recruiters have lauded the reigning premier’s draft haul after snaring versatile 193cm tall Jacob Van Rooyen at No. 19 and tall wingman Blake Howes at 39. The Demons had Howes right in the mix with their first selection and then, after opting for Van Rooyen as part of a close call, tried to strike a trade with Adelaide when Howes was still available at pick 36.
  17. Rare in terms of getting both its targets with an average draft hand. It's just poorly worded.
  18. Thought I was going mad too, must've been some sneaky editing I can only assume? Unless we've done a package deal and get his twin brother too
  19. I think Howes looks a much more natural footballer than Rosman
  20. Can't get a good read on them. Looks neatly skilled without being a great kick for Howes. Decision making looks solid though.
  21. I stand corrected
  22. From an AFL article: IN A DRAFT pool that is dominated by midfielders, Jacob van Rooyen stands out. Then you throw in his 195cm frame, the strong marking, hard running and batch of blond hair and it is easy to see why the West Australian has caught the eye of scouts.
  23. A pretty revolutionary concept duzza. I’m sure you’d find JT would know where the coaches are planning on developing him.
  24. JT said he’ll start wing/midfield, didn’t mention forward
