  1. Aside from preserving the main oval, why do Collingwood want it?
  2. Honestly none of it is really ground breaking stuff. A lot of what he talks about draws on long-standing ideas around mindset, purpose and perspective โ€” themes that have been around for centuries, he references and quotes things in teh book. heโ€™s worked with elite athletes, politicians and CEOs, and has been invited to speak all over the world. I think he is good at communicating the message, which is a valuable and meaningful skill. In his book he mentions doing a free session for Loreto students (and their parents), which reportedly had a really positive impact on students struggling mentally. If someone can package ideas in a way that resonates, helps people navigate tough periods, achieve goals or even potentially saves a life, then thats great. Sometimes its more about delivery, timing and relatability.
  3. Really grinds me gear this got brought out in the article explaining the change, yes Nasiah was the hero of the day but it's not the biggest travesty in Brownlow voting history.
  4. The bumping of this thread last week made me get his new book on Audible. Not finished listening yet but an insightful book so far. Would love to know what he encountered at the Dees. He speaks extensively about connection and belonging โ€” along with expectations, authenticity, storytelling, vulnerability and a range of other compelling themes/perspectives. Unfortunately, I suspect our issues with โ€œconnectionโ€ were a little broaderโ€ฆ and may have extended to our inside 50 delivery as well.
  5. I'd rather not imagine that
  6. I was hoping we'd have removed the target off Chandler by now, he'll have a good season this year
  7. Kozzie was borderline for a moment with his aggression, other teams calling him a sniper etc. But oozes to much class to be fully hated
  8. The duality! Will be interesting to see how he goes this year. Curious how things would have transpired here if we moved May on in a trade after last year.
  9. I know its a lottery at times, but this Comden/Mihocek one has me confused on where it'll land
  10. Fast in legs and in footy-brain
  11. more like Jack Steal.
  12. (Spoiler) Bruce Wayne. or Kentfield in a mask.
  13. I know we all know how good he can be, but Jack Steele playing well today, could be a very astute pick up if he keeps performing.
  14. slung to ground and connected with the noggin, which is probably a bit hard this time of year. Maybe under assessment at present?
  15. Have you tried amending your Will and leaving a legacy to Kayo?
