Agreed NWM deserved the 3 votes but some of the comments ive seen online make it seem like this was the most egregious moment of the night, at the end of the day the 2nd highest rated player that game got the 3 votes. There were games where Rowell/N Daicos polled when they had no right to, for me that's a lot worse than someone getting 2 votes when they deserved 3

Yes that's what the media do, but I'm not sure why it's so unrealistic to think a player who wanted to leave for various reasons (not disclosed publicly), may still want to leave. The way it played out last year was a debacle for all involved and IF nothing has changed then i'm sure all parties would want to ensure that it's not played out that public again. Only Christian himself can tell us if he wants to leave, and he won't do that - so we're left with a schrodinger's cat-like situation. No use beating ourselves up over it, just wait and see what eventuates.
