Josh Schache Re-Signs for 1 Year
With concerns over injuries (Brown/Tmac) and long-term futures (Grundy) a 1 year deal seems reasonable to me.

- TICKETING: 2023 Finals Week 01
Good seeing everyone snapping up seats. Still feels weird to me that the last finals win that a lot of us would have seen in person had the following players running around Jetta, OMac, Lewis, Frost, Hannan, Weideman, AVB, Jonesy, Tyson.- TICKETING: 2023 Finals Week 01
Only Unreserved and Standing room tickets available in MCC on a walk up basis for members, MCC comment section furious people were allowed Visitor tickets- TICKETING: 2023 Finals Week 01
MCC Ticket acquired - Spent far too long in the ticketek lounge and by the time I got out the portion of seats available on Level 1 & 2 were gone. Thursday night means i'll struggle to get there early for for a good walk up or level 3 seat so I am up on Level 4 for the first time in a while, but I will be there, Go Dees.- Jake Melksham Injury
Real devastated for Melk. Missed out on 2021 and has been in and out of the team, riding a redemption arc which has ended in such a cruel and abrupt manner. There's always stories of blokes being unlucky around finals, but this is a sad way for the Melk to go out. If we do have success a large part of it will be because of him. Part of this is why I think the AFL should have Gold AFL Premiership Medals (For the 23) and a Silver Equivalent (squad Players/those not in 23).- Darcy Parish
Out - Harmes? Jordon? Dunstan? In - Parish?- 2023 22Under22
Last year I thought there should be more Dees in the side but i didn't vote so i didn't complain This year thought there should be more Dees in it but i didnt vote so I can't complain. See you all next year for more of the same.- Ticketing 2023
Not sure if its cost of living crisis but thought it sold out much sooner in 2021 and 2022. But found it a little surprising theyre still available given we're up and about and for most of us, the only success we've seen we had to witness in lockdown on our tv.- Harley Reid
What makes matters worse is the interchange "blunder" which cost North Melbourne a likely win against the Swans earlier in the year. What a beautiful mistake for them. Tell you what though, Swans probably sitting 8 points higher than they should morally with this and the crows goal.- Ticketing 2023
Just saw a post from MFC still advertising the Grand Final Guarantee, has our form been that shaky that these are still available with one round to go?- Please keep an eye out for our giant heads
- 2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
How is Riak Andrew looking for a Cat B spot?- Demons great Depth
We've been a bit unlucky with injuries for the taller forward options. Injuries haven't really been spread out too much in the squad. Some trading/drafting to help this in 2024 and another pre-season in options like Jeffo and Sestan will help. Its funny myself and a few others at the start of the season were posting about nursing Melksham to 100 games with us but he has been an important player this season.- The Soccer thread
Chuck these 3 in as well Macca Sat 5am - Leeds vs West Brom 11:30pm - Bayern Leverkusen vs RB Leipzig Monday 5:30am - Real Betis vs Atletico Madrid- The Soccer thread
Was sort of inevitable after Germany and USA were knocked out. No shame losing to England and to think they were missing 3 of the starting 11 from the euros final win due to ACL injuries.- Which hated player would you love to love at the Dees?
Not that we need him, but every time we play Port I get real annoyed that Sam Powell-Pepper always plays a good game and is physical as well. I would prefer he did not do this against the Demons, so if this stops it so be it aha- PREGAME: Rd 22 vs Carlton
Yes exactly, it is pleasing to see the gap closing between the US and other countries. Think it was shambolic that it took Manchester United until 2018 to establish a Women's team. Back to the USA, they hosted in 1999 (and won) and 2003 and I think this had a huge impact on the 'golden generation' which won 2015 and 2019. Not sure how much further the Matildas will go in this tournament but i think its legacy here will be that the tournament inspired many young girls to play the game and hopefully push the sport further here. Keen for the Matildas/Demons bonanza!- 2023 Injury List
Curious to see what his movement is like post surgery in case that was hindering him.- 2023 Injury List
What do you reckon the plan is with Tmac? Given Petty out for the season, How many weeks in the 2s? Or does it depends how a possible Grundy re-integration goes- Training Ground?
Last game at AAMI Park/Melbourne Rectangular Stadium was last night and Storm are playing there this Sunday. Imagine no team would base themselves here for training given no more games in Melb, should be right to use Gosch's Paddock and any internal facilities.- PREGAME: Rd 22 vs Carlton
Meeting a mate at a pub before the footy, hoping the tillies can wrap it up in 90' otherwise. Won't be heading to the G until that game is over Imagine at least some of the TVs in the bars in the MCC will be showing the game if its on. Although Dees fans might be hoping to catch Adelaide pull one over Brisbane.- How far away is Matt Jefferson?
Hopefully Judd can act as an inspiration for some other young players in the squad. Get the form in and have a good off-season and pre-season and anything can happen. I mean Maxy was calling Judd for Rising star in March before the season started . That being said don't see them rushing Jeffo in, but clearly see things they like in him- Training Ground?
Last WWC game in Melbourne was last night so we should be back to 2 venues now at least. - TICKETING: 2023 Finals Week 01
