Just another example of a rule change from AFL having unintended consequences when players learn to adjust... (ducking being the worst) This is why I'm so sceptical on further rule changes, would prefer efforts to get improved interpretations and umpiring decisions on current rules

Nicholls was horrible and the decisions that caught the eyes of the commentators were, more often than not, from him If they can staff 9 umpiring crews a weekend durin the H&A then he has to be dropped from the remaining finals games needing only 3 crews over next two weekends
