  1. Was thinking exactly the same EaBoDs
  2. Agree Just asking for a complete GaGF
  3. Mahoney should announce the MFC is going to refuse to trade Jesse to Freo on humanitarian grounds Going to that ramble is a danger to anyone's wellbeing!
  4. I've been saying, since pre the 100 page mark, that I think (IMO) the MFC is pushing the Hogan trade (and there is some unstated reasons underlying this - which I don't know) At the same time we are a motivated buyer for May, competing against both Coll, and the 2019 fall back position of GCS That being said we are likely to receive unders for Hogan and pay overs for May - and infuriate a lot of DL posters
  5. It'll be an awkward 2019, but not a bad walk-away position
  6. I did go back through the last 12 drafts and @Demons11 has a good point - 2 picks may be more attractive than 1 higher one, particularly in a 'super draft' year as reports suggest There's always been plenty of great talent in the 7-14 range (barring 2009 which looked a pretty average draft and 2016-17 too early to tell), also a few flops in the top 7. Selwood, Dangerfield, Rioli, Riewoldt, Ziebel, Davis, Sidebottom, Lynch, Greene, Dev Smith, .... etc etc So unsurprisingly it's got a lot to do with ability to pick the talent.
  7. ? And we were travelling so well there for about 30 pages! I guess we were due...
  8. Now the question is how did it make it onto the Teleprompter in the 1st place? Even though they forgot to remove it...
  9. Yep, SEN on TuneIn is running the 9-12 TR show, better stream and louder for some reason
  10. Was 5 hours earlier than the Basil story
  11. Tim Gossage none the wiser... adds to intrigue
  12. Nuh, but video doesn't include the read fro Basil on Hogan https://www.perthnow.com.au/sport/afl/afl-trades---jesse-hogan-to-remain-with-melbourne-bc-5846311017001
  13. SEN played the audio of the 6 seconds of report from Baz numerous times, which was something like " Fremantle has missed out on star forward Jesse Hogan who is set to remain a Demon" - assume it'll be replayed a bit tomorrow morning on Trade Radio 7 News prepared a graphic as per this screenshot of Perth Now story
  14. Source is unlikely to be Jesse or MFC so pressume Freo have said they've missed out Likely a reaction to high asking price, concerns around foot/other
  15. Was thinking this is a possibility. Is Basil a good mate if Peter Bell?
  16. Haha Ron Burgundy, didn't think he'd actually read it...
  17. I sense we've been nudging him out It'll be awkward carrying him for another year with whatever issues exist prevailing in the background fuelling media speculation Plus imagine if it comes out Freo turned him down...
  18. Likely 1000 as this will drag on for a year
  19. Report was only 6 seconds from Basil on 7 News, without any context or source
  20. No doubt that's the underlying reason, along with Melbournes asking price and any other baggage he's perceived to be carrying
  21. Tom Browne had reported earlier today that Freo weren't that keen any more... Perhaps they pulled out, or going very hard as a negotiating tactic to see how desperately Melb want to push him out
  22. With what? Next year's 1st rounder would have to be expected to be 15-18 (we're equal 2nd Fav for Premiership with Coll/WCE) That'll drift a few places with Priority and Compos That's not going to get it done I'm afraid So we're waiting for Freo
  23. Under no circumstances should we accept anything less than 300 pages
  24. Do you have any evidence to support this?
  25. Not as if it's going swimmingly right at this moment In my mind it's becoming more clear that Melbourne has pushed for a trade (now), Freo holding the cards, we're nearing the point of no return - when it's publicly stated that Hogan prefers to leave At that point, it's take Freo's offer or a 12 month circus
