  1. on permanent replay on my computer....
  2. I have had a couple of wines or two but Libba is 29, Treloar is 28, Mcrae is 27, Hunter is 26, Bont is 25, Dunks 24 and Smith just a kid Viney 27, Harmes 26, Tracca 25, Oliver 24, Sparrow just a kid, who else do we run through the middle? Now the Dogs are a quality side and I am trying to understand why we won the way we did. I think you can see the difference in the ages. Libba played like he was 29 and it was a shocker. Treloar played a good game mainly because he kicked 3 goals. The Dogs midfield was too old when they came up against the Dees. Add in Jacko at 20 vs English at 24 or Gawn at 29 vs Martin at 34. Our aged players were mainly down the goal to goal line - BB, TMc, (Gawn)....May (and btw thats why I think we need to use pick 17 for a tall).
  3. If you are a Billy Bob fan, and why not, I assume you have seen Fargo? and any othe r recommendations? Naturally you have seen mathew Mc in True Detective?
  4. Any Killers fans out there? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ey_j7-wIo4U&list=RDMMey_j7-wIo4U&start_radio=1 Great Aussie song. I reckon Brandon could sing Good Old Collinwood Fornever and make it sound bearable.
  5. I thought season 1 was great with all the dynamics (ex partner ex wife etc) but after that... Have you seen Bosch? Great plot but the back story is like watching CFC highlights
  6. I didnt finish season 2, Should i have persevered?
  7. Surrendered? Nope. They just couldnt get the ball, we were the best team this year, It took them 2.5 quarters to get 19 points up and the Dees 10 minutes to get 24 points up. (Don't tell anyone but their mid field is too old).

That is dangerous. You won't have your membership card at the ready to throw down the players race if we drop an early game. 😁 (I think in Balmeys first year we dropped the first 4 games. I was so angry I went into the rooms after game 4 to give them a spray. I saw Todd and Brett lying on the floor, absolutely shot. They would have needed a stretcher to get to the showers. I didn't say a thing. I felt like an absolute human reproductive organ. Mind you some of the crowd were gobbing off.)
  10. I will take a slightly contrarian view in that in those days there were gun full forwards who regularly kicked bags. They hardly exist these days and there seems to be a larger spread of goal kickers - more players have got better at kicking. This may just be poor memory but it seems harder goals are also being kicked. In terms of improvements I think some of our defensive matchups could be improved, Spargo on Stanley, Viney on the Bont and Bowey standing the mark on a long set shot come to mind.
  11. Brent Guerra pinned both arms and drove him into the Colonial Dome concrete
  12. we still have ben brown (the much taller equivalent of Ricky Jackson - you ken not touch him)
  13. If I buy any more merch I will have to build a pool room.
  14. @rumpole Is Bayley Fritsch your favourite player?
  15. The third quarter still brings a tear to the eye. Has anyone seen a different angle to Frittas first goal in the third? Off the boot it looks like it is going through for a point.
  16. What about picnic baskets, knee rugs and a glass to keep your false teeth in overnight
  17. Surely you jest!!!!!! Have the pies come to that?
  18. Official line is that he was just talking about rotations and that the boys were rested and ready to go (bang, bang, bang...bang)
  19. gee Christian has a big head......
  20. Yes on the surface it seems to be a most ungracious thing to say. Talk about destroying your own good will. Perhaps he just caught Collingwood culture. Still his injury gave me no joy.
  21. TBH, when I saw the thread title I was half expecting an exposé of sorts
  22. I like that as he had big raps for Kozzie as well.
  23. I remember #10, the win at geelong on Corey Enrights 300th. I remember this for an odd reason - Billy Brownarse banging on about the crowd showing disrespect to Boris by leaving before the final siren. FMD.
  24. I can when I look at my credit card statement....
