  1. The engine room, mids and the contest was great.
  2. They love playing footy. Pressure, courage, taking it on.
  3. Good pressure to end the quarter
  4. The footy gods decided it wasn’t, until Daisy goes bang.
  5. Daisy and Hanks, good time for a goal, keeps the momentum.
  6. Good footy, looking for that central corridor, and getting in 50 marks. We have to kick goals if we are to benefit from our dominance.
  7. Needs better disposal efficiency and decision-making I reckon. Though gives us a great in and under and loves getting the ball. The same with West.
  8. If it wasn’t fro their fullback we would be well ahead. Need someone to take her away from the game, a defensive forward would do.
  9. Taylor big goal, so important to get one. Then Birch repels them.
  10. We are getting the run of the umpires decisions.
  11. Looks like Paxman playing off the half-back. Just saw the defensive group and she wasn't with them. Must be playing a kick behind the ball
  12. Really loved our hit out in the practice match we had at the "G". So many scoring opportunities created, with good skills and great ball movement down the corridors, we created many turnovers, competed well when in the contest, got plenty of the ball and controlled the play. We should be up there with the best teams. Hore, Gay, Zanker, Mithin, Heath, Bannan, Daisy, Birch, Paxman, Hanks, Harris, Lampard, Lauren. great core of women. Go Dees.

The players who on the cusp of being selected would be going hard in the practice match. It appeared to be the first against the seconds.

Though Tmac may not been officially placed on the wing, I have seen him do some of his work in the wing areas. In fact I've seen many of our players play all over the park. Nearly positionless as they transition the offence and defensive, and play a role, within the specific structures. Seems the traditional positions are only when they start the 666. A bit of an exaggeration but I hope you get my gist about what I think 2022 footy is.

Not an expert, though from personal experience, I needed to run to get my running endurance strong.

When Tmac has a full preseason, his endurance is right up there with ANB, and was able to play further up the field and on the wing. With limited running, I assume he would have to be an impact player coming off the bench. He creates a difficult match up and is dangerous as he can kick straight when takes a mark in the forward area. Your right about him being able to go back if needed. What I will be looking for when/if he plays in the VFL is his turning circle, ability to change direction, his capacity to run and chase, and whether he can get the ball.

If he plays on Saturday (VFL), plays well and pulls up ok, I'd imagine he would be an option for the team.

The most difficult think to do, IMO, is to take the practice into daily life. When consciously meditating it is easy to watch the mind, after a few years! To be aware of this moment as we go about our daily life is the difficult one. By the time the mind reminds us, then it is already that we have missed it. Sometimes being in the present means watching the thoughts and not controlling them. Watch the wild thing. A tether can help when we have to do a specific action. So being able to tether or quieten the cacophony of thoughts in order to perform in the zone is a great skill to have for an elite sports performance. However, when going about life, the mind with all its thoughts is watchable and soon enough you become the watcher, and in that place life seems so joyful, fun, sacred.
  19. No mention of that premier ski resort, Thredbo, as part of our our snow get aways. It has better runs and apreski, than Buller, though Buller is best for families and kids.

    There is no-one at Gosch's.

If I was the MFC, a training session would be today (at Casey), Sunday (so the MFC players in the VFL could be there), then Tuesday for another full hit, with the Captains run on Thursday. Just a Guess.

So we can't do any hugging. :( Addit: I'm a bit shy, so I keep my distance all the time. Would love to have some of your bravado.

Yes Have a good day WCW,

That would be the captains run. These are short sessions. Full sessions are more entertaining, especially when they do the simulations. The players love the competitiveness and as spectators we can see some brilliance, and a little of the intentions/purpose of the structures, during sims. The last few cap runs have been starting at 11.30am. Expecting them to inform us and to offer some full session to watch. I'll wander down to Gosch's for my regular morning walk at around 9.30 am, if they are out there I'll message straight away.
