  1. I have the same problem, sometimes under 1kb. If you edit and resize maybe they may fit. At the moment my upload capacity is 786 B. Amazes me that some can upload HD photos. Can those who do it, share, how? I messaged the mods and they said nothing could be done. It is why I can't send photos of training. Even after editing and resizing there is often not enough upload bytes available.
  2. JVR, J. Smith, Salem, Dunstan, Bedford in the squad. Williams was again the most vocal out there, making sure they were taking the session seriously. The warm up, then grouped into the four corners, short kicks to coach with some run and handball receive. Another drill finishing with hitting the yellow target. They split into their line squads and did their stuff. Mids practising clearances, forwards working the marking bag and backs shuffling the ball around. In the 3/4 paced, no cotact sims against the coaches (they started with possession, Yze, bog), we had plenty of structure, voice, spread and then finding a corridor off the backline, and finishing with a goal. Finished the session with some goal kicking. No Hibbs. Rehab had Woewodin and Moniz-wakefield, Moniz-wakefield later joined the seconds in their run. I couldn't see a coffee truck, there were, activities for the kids and merchandise they were giving away, small flags, plastic cups and key rings with pictures of players on them. Just saw the text from WCW, apparently sausages. Great crowd, I thought the players were a bit overwhelmed, would have preferred to have a few more spectators at their previous sessions so as to make it feel normal. Could work the other as well, and get them fired up, though I prefer the stability and controlling the environment, plus, gives us a bit more of a connection.

Hipwood, Daniher, Cameron aren't too bad. Brissy are known as a scoring team, not so much for their defense. Taking it easy.

During the year when our forwards were struggling the mids kick plenty. Our forward line is doing better now, so hopefully we get a good spread of scorers

The Zorko stuff is in their heads with him saying he will change his sledging attitude and keep his mouth shut. Changes this late in the season will upset the cart. His team-mates won't know where he is or they’ll think something is wrong, even on a subconscious level. We did smack them around, they buckled, however with the bye they have time to reset. They have been a good team during the middle stages of the season. Whereas Richmond are finding their groove at the right end. For Richmond to win I think Dusty has to play and Gotchin must lift, Bolton needs to be involved all the game and Tarrant has to play well (they have a shaky backline). Should be a good game.

Brisbane can score quickly when they get a run on, they have a potent forward line, but rely on confidence. Start missing the gettable ones and they may be in trouble. For the Tigers, it will be about scoring conversion efficiency after getting it in the 50. When I've watched the Tiger's I get a feeling that some of there players aren't quite ready for AFL. If Brisbane can absorb the pressure and hang in there when the Tiges are trying to force turnovers, they should win, unless the Tiges conterpunch well, after turnovers. It's unlikely that Brisbane play a bad second half, which is what I've seen them do lately, due to it being a winner take all final. If Brissy get a good lead they will be hard to chase down.
  7. The training on the 25th would have been the best one to watch. Then the Sunday run for those who have work work responsibilities, would have been useful. So we get a captains run, hopefully we can gee them up, and give them a sense to some parts of what they will be playing for, grass roots and heart. Hoping to hear more from them for the next build ups, otherwise I'll be guessing and gate crashing.

Noticed that the Central Train Station in Sydney is set to get a redevelopment over the existing rail line. "The plan to construct a bridge over the busiest lines in the country includes 15 mixed-use buildings, ranging from four to 34 storeys, and more than 60,000 sq metres of green space." https://www.transport.nsw.gov.au/projects/current-projects/central-precinct-renewal-program Could see the Vic government doing something similar, all the way from Birrarung Marr to Richmond station. The created space could include a MFC training facility. Only hoping.

Potentially, hope he can get there next year. Unless injury opens a space for him, and he gets to take a final "on".

The AFL make a commercial product out of the 2nd tier leagues. I am really amazed that they would not want to encourage the best players they could get in the teams. Even the older ones, who have a lot to offer to the youngsters. It is great that some enjoy a semi professional game in the bush and suburbs, especially if they have a connection to that club and area. I expect the numbers watching the bush league games would be better than some VFL attendances. It is just that I expected better remuneration from the coffers of the AFL, given the broadcasted obligations.

Shame, there is only money for the very elite. Good to see the women making some inroads, with some able to go full time. Still not enough though. Great dedication to sport, no wonder the contracted players get something from being around those doing it mainly for the love.

Wow there's not much to spread around. There are 24 players listed on the VFL Casey site. Barely $4000 a person if evenly distributed. Time spent travelling (interstate), training, professional development and other support like physio and psychologists. Nearly be better off financially being the cleaner.

I heard a commentator say that one of the swans older player could go to the bush leagues and get more money. Is that true? An indictment of the AFL not sharing with the VFL clubs or the other 2nd teirs around the country. I was shocked by that opinion, perhaps a fact.

He would put his own inner soles in, I'd hope.

Looking slow, lumbering along, though has been getting up the ground, his setting up of the play and composure has been good.

    Getting his game going.

Time to use that mindfulness training, forget about our poor disposals and to start performing when under pressure. We have to put goals on the board when we have the opportunities. Misses keep them in it.

Bedford goes before he gets it.

Or make a claim on the old Collingwood oval, Vic Park. Pies cannot claim two precincts. Could force the Pies to make a decision on whether they are leaving the Glass House. For us, we could be chasing the Glass House (Olympic oval) or Vic Park.
  24. Gate crashing is more like it. The DL's needed something and was happy to oblige, plus "was just walking by". Disappointed in the club only indicating one, perhaps it is because they feel they have to organise stuff for the patrons. They really could just post their schedule and leave the other stuff, such as the "coffee" and entertainment alone. We really would purely like to observe the club at "it", and to feel more part of the team. Otherwise we end up discussing "coffee".

JJ was on light duties when training at Gosch's, I would assume they are resting him. Must have been a bit sore after his last hit out.
