Yeah, listened to the age real footy podcast today, where good old Caro equated the mfc tanking to the Essendon supplements scandal. She took great delight on the back of the herald sun regurgitation of the sorry story, to vent her personal prejudice against the mfc, Cameron Schwann, chris Connolly, or all 3, despite actually no actual new evidence being released. gave me a pain in the head

Losing the way we did is no fun, and yes there’s are concerning aspects about our game, however... It’s round 1 i have faith that Goodwin et al, won’t throw the Towel in quite as readily, as so many on here are doing. Chill people. It’s a long, long season.

As Garry Lyon apparently said, time for the afl to grow up and do the 17 round draw. Wont happen though, afl not likely to stomach the revenue loss, nor have the courage to do what is right

Bit off topic I know, but I’m no fan of Geelong these days, but I think they are entitled to play hardball with kelly. Funny he’s so desperate to go home but is only interested in WCE. Disingenuous.

Both captain and coach took full responsibility, even though it seems the key offender was Warner. But as leaders they recognise that with the prestige of their positions and the big bucks, comes ultimate responsibility for both good and bad. Yes what a stark contrast to Hird. Steve Smith (and Bancroft) will be welcomed back, in large, by the Australian public with open arms after serving suspension. Redemption and forgiveness will be theirs. I wonder through hird’s iron clad ego, if he reflects on how things could have been.

Yeah I'm of this opinion too. He'll always be ultra bonded if they win, but he'll have no guilt if he leaves. I feel a bit for the crows after what they have been thru and losing quality players to other clubs. Winning the flag would help my guilt too!
