  1. MFCSS raising its head at last.
  2. I wonder if they consider getting Viney down there. Particularly if his foot needs to be constantly managed.

This post sounds a lot like my dating history back in the day. I wanted her but she didn’t want me - and I was too dumb(?) to not realise and accept that and just let her go.
  5. I am absolutely sick of certain posters who continually want to put the boot in when there is no need or possible upside for doing so. FFS they have been delisted - there is nothing more that needs to be said. Especially about 2 players who have absolutely given 100% and have been so admired in the club for their attitude. So they didn’t make it. It wasn’t through the want of trying - and they certainly achieved so much more in their careers as AFL footballers then virtually all of us at Demonland, especially me. What I would have given to have played 40 games for the MFC. Most posters have been appreciative of their efforts and wished them well. As it should be. As for the other F wits, to use some of your own language, you are simply Demonland list cloggers, and we should get rid of you.
  6. I'd be drafting the best available, not necessarily for need. Young at 3, Kemp at 8 if still available, if not Dylan Stephens.
  7. At some point, do we get the opportunity of signing up someone like Liam Buxton- Wales? He is big, has a great tank already, athletic, a good kick and has a very good pair of hands. Would like to hear from others who have seen more of him what their thoughts are. While he has been rucking at Casey, at 195 and over 100 Kgs, I could see him potentially taking on a mobile key position forward / 3rd tall (similar type to Tom Mac), with occasional spells in the ruck.
  8. True but it’s possible they may decide that one top shelf mid is enough and perhaps go for say Young as a ready made half back to fill another need. It is Dreaminland after all.
  9. If we can get him fit - and keep him fit- I’d see Joel Smith as our 3rd tall in the forward line. Perhaps rotating with Tomlinson on the wing at times. But agree that Fritsch needs to also play forward. Personally I’d use Smith and Petracca on the flanks and Fritsch and Melksham in the pockets. Melksham becoming our small forward. While im at it, and again if we can get and keep him fit, I’d see AVB in the middle and Brayshaw and Oliver on the ball. Going forward, I see AVB and Smith as really important members of our best 22, as I think we could struggle without what they potentially can bring to the side.

Haha Please don’t do it every week. I’ll go broke.
  11. Nor, would it appear, on Demonland.

So that’s a definite maybe from you Dee?
  13. I would suggest that our club knows who they would like to target in the draft. Pick 3 would assure that choice. Lower picks probably won’t. Surely for all the pain we went through this past season, the only benefit was assuring ourselves of the best (or 3rd best) available choice at the draft. Keep pick 3.

Hope he fully recovers. He’s been so unlucky not to get a run of games to prove himself, but I think the sign are there. Injury and a basketball background says he needs time to perform. I’m happy to give him that as I believe he has the potential to develop into a great asset for us, either forward, or I’d actually prefer him to Tomlinson on the wing. He certainly has the athleticism of Frost, but far more natural ability, and a far higher ceiling IMO. Given the time he’s had off the field, and assuming he is fit, i’d allow him till at least mid season next year to prove himself before throwing any barbs his way.
  15. If he “dies” Binman, I would hope he doesn’t choose us. We have enough problems.
  16. Any thoughts on picking up James Monro from Casey after his great season?

Sole is a third brother who never got drafted
  18. I was feeling quietly confident of 2020, until this post. Kiss of Death?
  19. Hopefully your post sums up this topic - a bad joke.
  20. I know very little about these kids but the video I seen of Stephens impresses me. Your thoughts on how he compares to Young would be welcome.
  21. If someone doesn’t want to be at the club, why would you keep him? Surely it’s that simple. I don’t care how good or bad he was. If he can’t buy into the red and blue, get the best deal you can for him. Ive certainly gone cold on Frost. And it’s obvious by the clubs reaction - or lack of - that they have too. Best of luck sunshine.
  22. In terms of the trade period, what will be will be. Langdon and Elliott would be my priorities. Two big fixers for our system. Pick 2 should be retained for someone like Anderson. Tomlinson not so sure. Only really looked out for him in his last two games, and that’s probably unfair sample for me to judge. What would excite me though would be if we are able to get AVB and Joel Smith fit and firing. They would be like 2 best 22 recruits in my view. AVB adds so much to our side and I think Joel will perfectly compliment Langdon on the other wing. If we were able to get KK fit and firing would be an absolute bonus, but not hopeful there. Top 8 for sure next year.

Two things: - this thread is about Trengove - what’s this got to do with him? - you are a brave man to be making those sort of comments about Mr Flower on this site. You might be shot.
