Besides the obvious more general underperforming and missing the finals, what are your biggest fears of the 2018 season? For mine it is Max Gawn going down with an injury early and with TMac already out only having Pedo to cover ruck duties forcing Weids to have to come in to the team early. I used to think we had depth but I think that only relates to the midfield.

You can't make sweeping statements like "they are not united therefore they will lose" if you have not done the research, spoken to people involved, gone to training sessions, watched the preseason games.

In the past our best games were always as the underdogs. Part of our mental fragility has been in not being able to perform as favourites. If we're going to push for finals or top 4 or the big dance then we have to break the shakles of not being able to win when we're expected too and also being favourites against the "strong" teams and getting the job done.

I have to agree with you there. I have had a enough of hearing the coaches and players talk. It is time for their actions to do the talking. We have the talent and hopefully last year was the kick up the behind that they need. More action. Less talk.
