  1. I was at Jungle Gym today. Bruce along with Ricky Petterd, Daniel Bell, Michael Newton, Paul Wheatley and Jace Bode were there. It was the Gyms official opening day and 1st year anniversary. It had great atmosphere and i spoke to the players. The whole team was there training earlier in the week as it is a lot closer than the Casey Fields. here is the gym's website if any of you are interested. http://junglegymfitness.com.au/
  2. Hope this helps... I've seen Dylan Ross play and he looks the goods. It would take him a year or two to develop but he has a lot of an upside to him. He reads the play well and is very agile. He has an accurate kick from what I've seen so i hope we rookie him.

  5. Dylan Ross Date of birth: 26/6/90 Height: 191cm Weight: 88kg Club: Claremont A hard-working tall marking forward who is strong on the lead. Ross reads the play well, and has the ability to go back when required. He was an AIS/AFL Academy graduate in 2007.
  6. Sam O'Sullivan Date of birth: 23/11/90 Height: 186cm Weight: 81kg Club: Oakleigh Chargers Strong midfield type with powerful legs.
  7. Jordi McKenzie Date of birth: 21/6/90 Height: 186cm Weight: 71kg Club: Geelong Falcons A medium midfielder with good aerobic capacity, McKenzie is a versatile player who can win his own ball both inside and outside, and can also play defensive roles on a tall.
  8. Tristan Francis Date of birth: 15/8/89 Height: 181cm Weight: 77kg Club: Gippsland Power Francis is a competitive midfielder who can find the ball and kick goals. He has pace, which was highlighted by a 2.91sec 20m sprint time at the Victorian state screening session.
  9. Bell signed a two year deal. Not sure about Moloney or Whelen though
  10. I'd assume Andrew Lee would do a Pre-season with us. BTW Jace Bode is doing a Pre-season with Port Adelaide
  11. I couldn't agree more. I love the way he plays, and he is the kind of defender we want. He reminds me a lot of Campbell Brown. for me: 1. Watts 17. Swift 19. Cornelius 35. Sloane
  12. Thats right, as a junior in the 2002 U/18 champs he kicked 5 goals for South Australia in a best on ground performance.

  14. He fustrated me more than any other player tonight. Everytime he got the ball, he ran twenty metres then either turned it over by foot or hand. On a positive side Maric looks very calm under pressure and his skills in the wet were great.
  15. My boy maric might be in line for his debut.
  16. Give the kid a break. Did you expect him to dominate today when the ball was in Freo's forward 50 80% of the time?. He did drop a couple of marks but you're being way too harsh. Give him until the end of the year and then you can make a decision.
  17. I didn't go to school with him but embarked on a business venture with him last year and converse with him frequently about the future of our club and the progress of our players. thanks for all the kind replies and support...
  18. For those of you who are tired of Cam Bruce's contribution to the Melbourne Footy club think again. Cam has put his hand up in the last month to play injured for the remainder of this season to lead the younger players each and every week. Without his support, we have no future. The future of our great club lies within our developing player group. Cam is the father of that group, they all look to him for guidance and he is leading by example. Cam has a condition known to most as shin splints where the facia beneath the shin is deteriorating but manageable. Cam is on crutches for 24 hours after each game and plays in pain! If thats not leadership what is? Im sick and tired of reading pessimistic and negative crap directed at him. All of this has come from Cam's mouth - he happens to be a close mate of mine and business partner. He's busting his guts and if you cant see that then you're blinded by your own selfish agenda!

  20. So freo are obviously tanking. To rest Palmer who has been a revelation for them this year shows how much Frematle want to lose this game.
  21. I was very impressed by Johnston, Hartlett, Klemke and Schoenmakers.
  22. Is Daniel Hannerberry playing Vic Metro?
