Fantastic opportunity for the club that lands Stringer to help him rebuild his life - clearly the Dogs dont have the support structure needed. Nobody yet has stated what crime he has committed or what he did wrong apart from let his personal life effect his professional life. Had his form not dropped at the Doggies all the bulldust would have blow over. Sure the noisy right wing conservative do-gooders will have their say - but its 2017 not 1964.

Exactly and that is all it is - nudge, nudge, wink-wink gossip and speculation. If it was true no need to hide it. It can only be libel if its untrue hence why McQueen needs to hide it. So no reliable source has been pre-pared to put in the pubic domain a reason why he is not recruitable. Bulldogs have stuffed this up.

Menzel is a huge injury risk. Gaff where is this coming from? Gaff you would be mad to touch this year. Stringer AA player, premiership player, 50+ goal forward, working on his tank for more mid time - his situation has been totally stuffed by Dogs. Big opportunity if you where prepared to be bold & ruthless. There will be no bidding war for Stringer - he will nominate and you can bet your last dollar PC will get a deal done.

Ok so you cant provide a reason. Clarkson ruled the Hawks out because they have no first round pick - his words not mine. He spoke very glowingly about Jake.

So what is that reason?

Jack is a contracted player - his management will be seeking a 3 year deal as a minimum. If you had suggested this trade 12 months ago the Dogs would have laughed at you - today I'm not so sure they would rule it out.

Strategically we are in top-up mode with one clear goal - to make the finals in 2018. Stringer perfectly fits our needs. It has been a long time since we have been in this position. Its going to be tough to get him, nearly ever club in Victoria will have a crack if they can arrange the right player swap for the Dogs. We need to get Stringer to commit to us 100% and we wont know that until after he has spoken will all the clubs.

Bulldogs have absolutely stuffed this up - Jake is no alter boy but I think him and Petracca rotating between mid-forward is lethal.

Stood head and shoulders above many of our AFL listed players this year at Casey. Think he will be around the 40-50 mark in this years draft.

Not automatic top 22, but will be a good punt at the price we will have to pay.

Up to our eyeballs in this - Stringer needs to be our number one priority. After landing Lever if we landed Stringer we are set for a top 8 finish.

The Lever & Balich deals are welcome to MFC. Watts deals will be predicated on his manager getting the right offer for his client - PC is very confident he can do that.

I'm a huge Watts supporter, but I think he is 90% gone few details to work out.
