We desperately lack outside mids and have far too many slow inside mids in our team, this becomes evident when we play at the mcg or play running teams. on defensive transition our mids are 20m behind their men. I have seen this all season and seen it as our main deficiency. It is disgraceful we have not recruited any runners over the past few years. having dom Tyson in the side makes this twice as bad.

balic looks like a slow version of Pederson, surprised me really as in his draft year he was touted as a first round prospect, I think he needs to lose a few kilos and word on those fast twitch fibres

viney is an inside midfielder who relies less on disposal and more on ball winning abilities, bakers is the opposite

it's more the fact all of his kicks are so loopy and cause contests rather then nice flat passes, he will never make it at afl level unless he can learn to kick flat

bakers footskills are poor and very loopy, had a solid game but frost Vince and keilty were all better

Nick hind from essendon is certainly worth a look in at the draft, might be a good fit as an outside runner that we so desperately need and bog imo

king has no afl attributes, young but no potential

I thought he was dangerous in the first half. His tank is however average, needs to lose some weight and get fitter

we have been drafting too many one paced inside midfielders. this is not so obvious when we play weaker sides however is exposed against stronger sides. viney Jones and Oliver are just simply too slow to compete against treloar Sidebottom and De goey. I don't understand why our quickest player is playing in the 2s, it was evident our back line was too slow today with Lewis and Vince getting baths. we desperately need a gaff. pace has been something we have lacked over the past 10 years.
